We had an amazing tour... - We had an amazing tour and would highly recommend this day trip outside of Tokyo! Our guide, Naoto, was very knowledgeable, friendly and great with our young kids! The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and we appreciated learning about the history of the sites we had visited and Japanese culture in general.

Beautiful Kamakura - It was a very serene and amazingly beautiful place to walk through unlike the busy and bustling Tokyo. Our guide Inoto and Jade were very informative on the Japanese culture and the historic events surrounding Kamakura. We took plenty of pictures in beautiful settings of the bamboo forest and temples.

Best tour experience! - Had a wonderful time with Beth and Jeff. They were very knowledgeable, fun and sweet. The sites were breathtaking. Wear comfy shoes—lots of walking but great food along the way. Many cute stores for souvenir shopping.

Our best tour in Japan! - Beth and Jeff were amazing guides. The sites were beautiful but the conversations and knowledge of Beth and Jeff made for a remarkable day. Remember to bring comfy shoes—lots of walking but great food and snacks to be bought along the way.

A Great Day!! - This tour was worth every penny! Although a bit more than others it included all admission fees, transportation and extra items such as food to feed the carp, tea and going inside the great buddha. We liked that the guides stayed with us the whole time (except lunch break) and were available to give us historical information and answer our questions. Other tours took you to a site but left you to fend for yourself including paying for your own admission fees. It was a long day but at the end we really felt it was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! Thank you Beth and Jeff

Incredible Must See Day Trip from Tokyo! - Beth and Naoto were excellent! They were friendly, communicative, and extremely well prepared to handle the small group. If you want to get outside Tokyo for the day and see a totally different side of Japan you should do this tour and ask for Beth and Naoto.

Amazing trip with Beth - My wife and I booked on this trip. Our guide was Beth and tagging along was Naoto and Jade (who were both training to guide at the Kamakura area), and we were also lucky as it was just the 2 of us for the day.. so we almost had a private tour with Beth in charge. The day started at Shinjuku and we took the train out to Kamakura. The sights visited included Hokoku-ji temple (with a lovely bamboo forest with matcha tea), Tsurugaoka Hachimangu (Shinto shrine), Kotoku-in (the giant Buddha) and Enoshima island. Lunch was simple (just eat whatever at Komachi Street. And the tour did say walking tour.. be prepared to do between 25,000 to 28,000 steps by the end of the tour. It was tiring, but superb. Naoto was fantastic in helping us to take photos, and Jade also shared her growing up years in Japan and India.. which made the trip all the more interesting.

Amazing day out - The tour way exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't have believed it was possible to fit so much into one day. Beth planned it so well , and was exceedingly knowledgeable with so many interesting and unusual historical facts thrown in at every step. She showed consideration for when stops were needed for a drink or food. At the end of the tour I returned to my hotel feeling as if I'd had a great insight into the real Japan. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. 5* plus plus!

Natural Beauty Outside of Tokyo - We really enjoyed our day trip to Kamakura and Enoshima! We probably could have spent the whole day in Kamakura as there is lots to do with shopping, eating and feeding koi fish. This tour requires a long day of walking and standing but is definitely worth it. I appreciate how knowledgeable Jeff is about the different attractions. I highly recommend!
