Heydar Aliyev International Airport - Arrival at the airport. The journey from the airport to the city center takes about 20-25 minutes. A representative from our company will greet guests at Baku International Airport named after Heydar Aliyev. – Relaxation time.
Baku Old City - The tour begins at the main entrance of the Old City, known as Double Gates. During the tour, you will see the Chain, Sailor, and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, and Maiden Tower. The guide will explain the history of the Old City and its notable buildings. Shirvanshah Palace, the jewel of Azerbaijan’s architectural heritage and the former residence of the rulers of Shirvan, is located in the heart of Baku. The beautiful complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, a tomb, a mosque from 1441, a bathhouse, and the mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi. Later, visit the Bukhara caravanserai, built in the late 15th century along the trade route of Icherisheher in Baku. The caravanserai has a quadratic shape with a prominent portal and an octagonal courtyard surrounded by balconies and private rooms. The courtyard served as an open-air hall where travelers and merchants gathered after daily trade activities. The restoration work in 1964 revealed the caravanserai’s large-scale structure. Maiden Tower, often compared to the Eiffel Tower of Baku, was used as a fortress by the Shirvanshahs in the 12th century. Its architectural plan features extraordinarily thick walls at the base, gradually narrowing towards the top. Today, the interior houses old photographs and a souvenir shop, with a superb rooftop viewpoint offering panoramic views of Baku Bay and the Old City.
Baku Boulevard - The tour starts in Highland Park, offering sweeping panoramas of the city and Baku Bay. This is the best spot for photographing Baku’s 21st-century icons, the Flame Towers. The tour concludes at Baku Seaside Boulevard, passing by Little Venice with its emerald green waters, bridges, Venetian-inspired colonnades, and the unique Carpet Museum. The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum showcases different schools and techniques from across the country and the history of carpet weaving. The tour continues with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center.
Highland Park - The first stop is Highland Park, the highest point in Baku. From here, you can see major buildings like the Flame Towers, Parliament Building, State TV Channel Building, Broadcast Tower, Martyrs’ Lane, Crystal Hall, National Flag Square, and more. You will walk through Martyrs’ Lane to the stairs called “40 Stairs,” where your driver will pick you up.
Nizami Street / Tarqovi - The final stop on the Baku city tour is Nizami Street. You will have 15-20 minutes to walk and enjoy the central street of Baku, filled with shops and restaurants. You will also see Fountain Square with its beautiful fountains.
Ateshgah - Fire Temple - Discover why Azerbaijan is called the land of fire by visiting the 17th-century fire temple, Ateshgah. The driver and guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive directly to the Fire Temple, located in the southeastern part of the Surakhani settlement on the Absheron Peninsula, 30 km from Baku. Ateshgah is a fire temple built in the 17th-18th centuries on the site of natural gas flames. The earliest building dates back to 1713, and the central temple was built in 1810 by merchant Kanchanagara. It was sanctified by Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs at different times.
Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - After visiting the Fire Temple, the last stop is the Fire Mountain, Yanar Dag. This natural burning flame is the result of natural gas emerging at the foot of the hill. The hill has been burning for approximately 4 millennia, even in rain and snow. Yanar Dag is located 25 km north of Baku, in Mehemmedi village. Since 2007, Yanar Dag has been a state-protected conservation area.
Gabala Tour
Juma Mosque - On the way from Baku to Gabala, we visit Juma Mosque in Shamakhi, also known as Friday Mosque, a popular tourist attraction. Unlike many mosques, non-Muslims are allowed to enter. You need to remove your shoes, but the floor is covered with thick carpets. Women must cover their heads, and free head covers are provided at the entrance and returned upon exit.
Seven Beauties Waterfall - This mountainous waterfall flows from the highest peaks of the Caucasus Mountains and is located in Vandam village of Gabala. The name Seven Beauties (Yeddi Gozal) Waterfall comes from the seven mountain roads leading to it. The waterfall freezes in winter, making it harder to reach, but in spring and summer, tea houses along the way offer traditional Gabala jam. At the highest point of the waterfall, there is a tea house with a wooden platform where you can enjoy tea with the sound and scenery of the waterfall. The tea’s water is sourced from the waterfall, giving it a unique taste.
Nohur Gol - Nohur Lake, near the Gabala-Ismayilli-Baku motorway, is a natural attraction visited by tourists. It is located 5 km east of Gabala city, about 200 km from Baku. The lake is surrounded by the Yumuru, Goydag, and Gulluburun mountains. The lake is 1925 m long, 1355 m wide, and covers an area of 240 ha. Its maximum depth is 24 m, and it holds about 16 million m3 of water. It is situated 700 meters above sea level.
Tufandag Mountain Resort - Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourist Complex is located 4 km from Gabala city. The resort offers various extreme sports and tourism activities in harmony with nature. Tufandag provides skiing in winter, cable car rides in summer, mountain climbing by ATV quad bikes, and other entertainment. The ski slopes offer a 1000-meter vertical downhill, 15 km of ski slopes, and 4 rope lines. There are green and blue slopes for beginners and moderate skiers, and red and black slopes for professionals. Along with natural snow, snowmobiles ensure a memorable skiing experience. Ski equipment can be rented at the resort, and professional instructors offer ski lessons.
