Baku City Tour
Highland Park - The first stop of the tour is Highland Park, the highest point in Baku. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, including major landmarks like Flame Towers, Parliament Building, State TV Channel Building and Broadcast Tower, Martyrs’ Lane, Chrystal Hall, National Flag Square, and more. You will walk through Martyrs’ Lane to the stairs known as “40 Stairs” where your driver will pick you up.
Baku Boulevard - Also known as the National Seaside Park, Baku Boulevard is a favorite promenade for both residents and visitors. It is the second largest in Europe after the park along the River Seine in Paris. Established over 100 years ago by Baku’s oil barons, today it spans 3,750 meters along the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, from National Flag Square to Freedom Square. The area includes museums, cultural facilities, malls, and entertainment centers, including the modern panoramic amusement ride – the Devil’s Wheel, offering a beautiful view over Baku Bay.
Little Venice - Built in 1960 and expanded to 10,000 sq.m., Little Venice in Baku Boulevard features two large and several small islands connected by ornate bridges. The area includes two restaurants, one offering Western cuisine and the other Eastern. Gondolas for four people are available for rides around the islands. Located near the Caspian seashore, it offers a Venetian experience with various dining options, including Azerbaijani dishes.
Nizami Street / Tarqovi - The next stop is Nizami Street, the central street of Baku filled with shops and restaurants. You will have 15-20 minutes to explore and see the Fountain Square with its magical fountains.
Fountain Square - A popular spot for strollers, this leafy piazza is the natural focus of Central Baku. The fountains include one topped by shiny silvered spheres reflecting the trees and stone facades, and the beautiful statue-inlaid facade of the Nizami Literature Museum.
Gosha Gala Tower - The Old City tour starts at the main entrance called Double Gates. You will see Chain, Sailor and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, and Maiden Tower. The guide will explain the history of the Old City and its buildings.
Palace of the Shirvanshahs - The next stop is the Shirvanshahs Palace, a pearl of Azerbaijani architectural heritage and former residence of the rulers of Shirvan. The complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, tomb, mosque from 1441, bathhouse, and the mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi.
Bukhara Caravanserai - Built in the late 15th century, Bukhara Caravanserai is located on the trade highway of Icherisheher in Baku. It has a quadratic shape with an octagonal yard surrounded by balconies and chapels. The restoration in 1964 revealed its large-scale structure.
Maiden Tower - Known as the Eiffel Tower of Baku, Maiden Tower was used as a fortress in the 12th century. Its thick walls and superb rooftop viewpoint offer a sweeping panorama of Baku Bay and the Old City.
Miniature Books Museum - Located in the Old City, this museum holds the largest collection of miniature books in the world, with over 5,600 books from 66 countries. It was created by Zarifa Salahova and opened in 2002.
Shamakhi - Lahij - Nohur Lake - Sheki
Juma Mosque - On the way from Baku to Gabala, visit Juma Mosque in Shamakhi. Entrance is permitted even to non-Muslims. Shoes must be removed, and women must cover their heads.
Diri Baba Mausoleum - This two-storey mausoleum stands on a cliff. The first storey has a hall leading to an octahedral cupola. The second storey is accessed by stairs carved into the cliff. The mausoleum is a masterpiece of the Shirvan architectural school.
Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum - Located at the foot of Gulistan Fortress, this mausoleum is the burial place of Shirvan Dynasty rulers. The name “Seven Domes” comes from the number of gravestones in the crypt.
Lahij - This village is known for its craftsmen and artisans who work with non-ferrous metals. The village features two-storey houses and cobbled streets along the Girdiman River. Each quarter has its own mosque.
Nohur Lake - Located near the Gabala-Ismayilli-Baku motorway, Nohur Lake is surrounded by mountains and is a popular natural attraction. It is 1925 meters long, 1355 meters wide, and 24 meters deep.
Sheki - Transfer to Sheki and check into the hotel for rest.

Sheki Khan’s Palace - Built in 1762 as a summer residence for the Khan of Sheki, this palace features walls full of paintings, each with its own philosophical meaning.
Karvansaray - This historical complex includes two caravanserais, “Upper” and “Lower,” dating back to the 18th-19th centuries. The Lower Caravanserai is now a hotel complex with a national cuisine restaurant.
Church of Kish - Visit the first Albanian church in the Caucasus, dating back to the 1st century AD. The church has been converted into a museum.
Sheki - Gabala - Baku
Tufandag Mountain Resort - Located 4 kilometers from Gabala city, this resort offers skiing in winter and various activities in summer. It features ski slopes, cable cars, and equipment rentals.
Gabaland - Visit Gabaland Entertainment Center, a popular amusement park with rides for children and adults. It is a perfect place for family recreation.

Bibi-Heybat Mosque - This mosque includes the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. It is a major monument of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan.
Ateshgah - Fire Temple - Visit the 17th-century fire temple in the Surakhani settlement. The temple was built on the site of natural gas flames and was sanctified by Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs.
Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - Visit Yanardag, a natural burning flame that has been ablaze for approximately 4 millenniums. The site is a State Historical-Cultural and Natural Reserve.
