Highland Park - The tour begins at Highland Park, the highest point in Baku. From here, enjoy a panoramic view of the city, including landmarks such as the Flame Towers, Parliament Building, State TV Channel Building, Broadcast Tower, Martyrs’ Lane, Crystal Hall, National Flag Square, and more. Walk through Martyrs’ Lane to the “40 Stairs,” where your driver will pick you up.
Baku Boulevard - Known as the National Seaside Park, Baku Boulevard is a beloved promenade for both locals and visitors, and the second largest in Europe after the park along the River Seine in Paris. Established over 100 years ago, it stretches 3,750 meters along the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, from National Flag Square to Freedom Square. The area features museums, cultural facilities, malls, and entertainment centers, including the modern panoramic ride – the Devil’s Wheel, offering stunning views over Baku Bay.
Little Venice - “Little Venice” in Baku Boulevard is a charming town built in 1960, now expanded to 10,000 sq.m. It features two large and several small islands, with expanded channels, additional bridges, and two restaurants offering Western and Eastern cuisine. Boats accommodate four people, including a guide. Located near the Caspian seashore, visitors can enjoy a gondola ride and dine on Azerbaijani and international dishes. Mini Venice boasts several islands connected by ornate bridges, with Eastern and Western restaurants available.
Nizami Street / Tarqovi - The next stop is Nizami Street, where you have 15-20 minutes to explore the central street of Baku, filled with shops and delightful restaurants. You can also visit Fountain Square, known for its enchanting fountains.
Fountain Square - Popular with strollers, this leafy piazza is the heart of Central Baku. The fountains, including one topped by shiny silver spheres, reflect the trees and stone facades. The beautiful facade of the Nizami Literature Museum is also located here.
Gosha Gala Tower - The Old City tour begins at the main entrance, Double Gates. Discover the Chain, Sailor, and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, and Maiden Tower. The guide will share the history of the Old City and its notable buildings.
Palace of the Shirvanshahs - Next, visit the Shirvanshahs Palace, a gem of Azerbaijani architecture and former residence of the Shirvan rulers. The complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, tomb, mosque from 1441, bathhouse, and the mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi.
Bukhara Caravanserai - Built in the late 15th century along the trade route of Icherisheher in Baku, the Bukhara caravanserai features a quadratic shape with a salient portal and an octagonal yard. Surrounded by balconies and chapels, the yard served as a gathering place for travelers and merchants. Restoration in 1964 revealed its grand structure amidst surrounding buildings.
Maiden Tower - Known as the Eiffel Tower of Baku, the Maiden Tower served as a fortress in the 12th century. Its architectural plan features thick walls that narrow towards the top. Inside, find old photographs and a souvenir shop, with a rooftop viewpoint offering sweeping views of Baku Bay and the Old City.
Miniature Books - Visit the Museum of Miniature Books in the Old City, included in the Guinness Book of Records for its extensive collection. Founded by Zarifa Salahova, the museum opened on April 2, 2002, and houses over 5,600 books from 66 countries.
Shamakhi - Lahij - Nohur Lake - Sheki
Juma Mosque - En route from Baku to Gabala, visit the Juma Mosque in Shamakhi, open to non-Muslims. Shoes must be removed, and women are provided with head coverings at the entrance.
Diri Baba Mausoleum - The Diri Baba mausoleum, a two-storey building on a cliff, features a hall with a passageway to an octahedral cupola. The architecture harmonizes with the surrounding landscape, and the monument is protected by the government.
Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum - Located at the foot of Gulistan Fortress, the Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, or “Seven Domes,” is the burial site of Shirvan Dynasty rulers. The gravestones resemble half-destroyed stone domes, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
Lahij - Visit the village of Lahij, accessible via the forests and serpentine roads of the Caucasus Mountains. Admire the natural canyon and Zernava suspension bridge. Lahij is known for its craftsmen and artisans, who preserve traditional metalworking techniques. The village features unique mosques and cobbled streets.
Nohur Lake - Nohur Lake, near the Gabala-Ismayilli-Baku motorway, is a natural attraction surrounded by mountains. Located 5 km east of Gabala city, the lake is 1925 m long, 1355 m wide, and covers 240 ha, with a maximum depth of 24 m.

Sheki Khan’s Palace - After breakfast, the Sheki city tour begins with a visit to Sheki Khans Palace, built in 1762 as a summer residence. The palace features intricate paintings with philosophical meanings.
Karvansaray - The “Caravanserai” historical complex in Sheki includes two caravanserais, “Yukhari” and “Ashaghi,” dating back to the 18th-19th centuries. The “Lower” caravanserai, now a hotel complex, features a rectangular shape with a large inner yard and 242 rooms.
Church of Kish - Visit the first Albanian church in the Caucasus, dating back to the 1st century AD. The Kish Albanian Church, now a museum, offers insights into Caucasian Albania, a Christian nation that once covered northern Azerbaijan.
Sheki - Gabala - Baku
Tufandag Mountain Resort - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Baku, stopping at Tufandag Winter-Summer Mountain Resort in Gabala. The resort offers skiing, cable car rides, mountain climbing, and other activities.
Qəbələ Əyləncə Mərkəzi - Optionally, visit Gabaland Entertainment Center, a popular amusement park in Azerbaijan with rides and events for all ages. It’s an ideal spot for family recreation.

Mud Volcanoes - Continue to the Mud Volcanoes near Gobustan National Museum. Transportation will switch to Soviet Lada Cars. Visitors can collect mud, believed to be beneficial for the skin. Azerbaijan is home to about 300 mud volcanoes. Spend 15 minutes exploring before returning to your car.
Bibi-Heybat Mosque - The Bibi-Heybat Mosque, containing the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum, is a spiritual center for Muslims and a significant Islamic architectural monument. Known locally as “the mosque of Fatima,” it was described by Alexandre Dumas in the 1840s.
Ateshgah - Fire Temple - Discover why Azerbaijan is called the land of fire by visiting the 17th-century Fire Temple and a hill that has burned for millennia. The temple, located 30 km from Baku, was built over natural gas flames and sanctified by Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs.
Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - After the Fire Temple, visit Yanardag, a natural burning flame resulting from natural gas. Known as Burning Hill, it has been ablaze for centuries. Yanardag is a State Historical-Cultural and Natural Reserve.
