Food Heaven - May was an amazing host and was extremely accommodating, even though we’re vegan, to our dietary needs. We had so much fun and laughs and ate so much fresh delicious food. May we really loved your knowledge passion and enthusiasm for beautiful Taiwanese food and people. May knows her stuff. We still talk about the food we ate at the market and look forward to going back. Apologies for no photos. We were too busy eating and forgot to take them 😂😅😆 Soo good 😊 Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a fussy eater I finished full and satisfied - We don’t eat sea food or offal, so it was daunting hunting for street food by ourselves. Our guide Vicky was fabulous. At the meeting point she gave us a bag of sweet potato balls, a great starter to begin our tour. Vicky gave a brief history of the market area at the beginning and planned an itinerary based on our dietary requirements. As we walked, she added stories and facts about the food and people. We toured a temple and learnt more about Chinese customs. We ate many Taiwanese specialties and even when we were full Vicki pointed out stalls we may like to try on another day. All her recommendations were good, and the food was extremely affordable. We highly recommend Vicky and this tour.

Great foody tour - Joseph was a great guide around the market. Insights on the food as well as taiwan culture and history. Make sure you try the peanut ice cream burritos and skip the stinky (!) tofu.

Shilin Show - My friends and I had an amazing time and our tour guide May was sooooo sweet and an amazing guide. The food she introduced us to was so tasty and we had a blast! Would love to go back to Shilin now with the knowledge she gave us.
