We loved this tour!! If... - We loved this tour!! If you are interested in tea and where the tea leaves come from, this is the tour to take. We learned a lot from the guide, the museum was small but mighty, and we especially loved the tea tasting at the end. It was nice to know what type of tea tasted like , before buying. We had our 10 year old with us and she said it was kid friendly! She especially liked the peanut tea candies.

The views - The view from the tea plantation was breathtaking. The tea at the tea shop was good, and the two brothers there were funny. I bought some tea to have on my travels and it is excellent.

Great half day tour - This is a really nice tour for half a day . Not many people do this as tourists so it feels very special (literally we were the only group ) . The walk around tea gardens, and the views were stunning . The tea museum is also delightful ( also an escape from the rain ). The cute village near the tea ceremony with the children singing songs about glowworms and dancing in the rain was the most adorable thing I saw ( not included in the tour but very sweet to see local life) . The tea ceremony was good fun, the two brothers witty and sharp . My only niggle was that the guide wore a mask and so the whole tour on the bus was muffled and we couldn’t understand him. However I wasn’t too keen on information so just slept through it . All in all good experience .

We really enjoyed our... - We really enjoyed our tour with Walter. He had great commentary on the history of Taiwan and he made sure that we spent enough time at each stop. The highlight of our tour was the tea ceremony. We loved getting to try the different local teas. Would highly recommend this tour to other travelers.

Gives a different perspective on Taiwan and beautiful views - Our guide Ciao was great! Very knowledgeable, but we really appreciated how friendly and nice he was - he made the day fun and interesting. The views and scenery are spectacular, we got some of the best photos of our whole trip. It actually helped that it was sort of rainy and atmospheric. Going out to the countryside was a great way to get a sense of Taiwan outside of Taipei.

The tour guide comes on... - The tour guide comes on time and is very informative. She also speaks good English. We did exactly what the itinerary showed. We have a mix of Western and Asian guests, and we got splitted up in the buses and during tea tasting accordingly. The tour guide mostly put herself with the Western group, which I understood that they need more of the translating service. I don't speak any Mandarin, as well as some Korean guests in my group, so most of the time we relied on the Mandarin speaking guest. The tour seemed to be a bit rushed. But otherwise, the destination is beautiful and good tea tasting experience.

Rainy Mountain Day - Very informative tour guide and safe trip into the mountains. The tea tasting experience was outstanding. Would love to experience the trip on a sunny day, but the rain added to the uniqueness of the experience.

Tea lovers would love this tour! - I liked all places that we visited. But the time allocated to the tea museum was too short. I had to miss the basement exhibit entirely. I wish we had 20-30 minutes more there since this was my once-in-a-lifetime visit to Taiwan! Our guide was a very nice person and did her best on the job. Thank you! I highly recommend this tour.
