Road Trip Diamond - Random roadtrip from our home 60 miles south of Nashville. This recording studio is as deep in music history and royalty as any I have ever seen. Similar to historic Studio B in Nashville it presents an incredible group of diverse musicians who are literally the backbone of Rock, Soul, Americana and more! Chase, our guide was beyond knowledgable and made all the stories come alive with a well curated selection of music actually recorded in the studio and also in contrast to the later heavily produced recordings done in more corporate studios. Truly a place that must be preserved, inexpensive and yet priceless!

Small Town Big Music! - This was an amazing tour lead by an incredible musician and tour guide named Will. Will did a great job of enriching our knowledge of the many, many first class musicians who recorded under a plethora of genres hit, after hit, after gold record, after platinum record. The Swampers studio musicians were among the best of the times and were in great demand. They backed so many artists there are too many to mention. try to get Will as your tour guide but I imagine all the guides are very good.

As a music lover...WOW! Just WOW! - This place has been on my Bucket List for years! As a music lover and history of music lover, I felt like a kid in a candy store! I don't even know where to begin! Chase was a great tour guide and knew the building and its rich history well. This place is a former casket shop (and yes it's haunted according to Chase). Cher was the first artist to record here and named her album "3614 Jackson Highway", the address of the studio. Other huge names who recorded here include the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, and Lynyrd Skynyrd to name just a few. From the famous lyrics to Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Now Muscle Shoal has got The Swampers, and they've been known to pick a song or two (yes, they do!)" The Swampers were a rhythm section session musicians who recorded back up in the studio. There is also a small but really neat souvenir gift shop that has t-shirts, magnets and other cool items. The cool vibes were everywhere! If these walls could talk...

Nostalgic tour - An engaging and informative presentation gave the background to the evolution and development of this studio and the many famous artists who have recorded there over the years. Having lived through this era ourselves, we found it all fascinating and quite emotional.
