It's definitely worth it - I recently completed this excursion in Egypt and overall had a great experience that I’m very glad I decided to do. The trip was extremely well organised from start to finish, with clear and helpful communication from the company about 36 hours before the tour. They provided all the details I needed in advance, which made the preparation smooth and stress-free. Pick-up was punctual and hassle-free, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. There are a few additional costs to be aware of beyond the original booking price. Upon arrival, there is a €10 entry fee, which everyone must pay. If you plan to visit the summit, it gets very cold at the top of the mountain, so blankets are available to rent at 200 EGP. For those who prefer not to walk the whole way, camel rides are offered at around €20 each way. Throughout the route there are also many locals offering help or small services, and they typically expect a tip afterwards, so it’s good to have small change on hand. Although the day is very long—I was picked up at 21:00 and didn’t return to my hotel until about 15:00 the following afternoon—the experience itself made it completely worthwhile. The guides were knowledgeable, organised, and supportive throughout, helping to keep the group together and providing interesting insights along the way. Reaching the summit, especially at sunrise, was truly memorable. In the end, despite the long hours and the extra costs, this trip was a unique and rewarding experience that I’m grateful to have done. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area who enjoys adventure, breathtaking scenery, and a sense of accomplishment.

Worth every step. - Fantastic trip. The views are stunning, the sunrise magical. My wife got a camel trip up for £1000EGP (about $20) and highly recommended it. Our Bedouin guides were calm, friendly and professional - sharing information with us all even when some of the guests didn't give them the time of day to listen - props to Jimmy and Mohammed for that in particular. It is COLD at the top - do listen to the guides and definitely rent a blanket (£200EGP/$4) from the final station before summiting.

One of the most moving trips I’ve ever been on - It’s hard to get through the night and the day after with little sleep. It’s hard to climb a mountain in the dark fuelled mostly by adrenaline. But for all the pain, it was so worth it. The glory of the Milky Way, undimmed by light pollution, the joy of witnessing falling comets, the incredible beauty of the dawn with the sky moving from silhouette, to eery blue, to magical red and then the golden ball of the sun with its warmth. We arrived at the top at 5:15am and sat huddled for warmth in horse hair Bedouin blankets. It was a moment of calm before the sunrise. Everyone without exception was in awe. As the sun rose an old man spontaneously broke into a song of praise in Arabic. It was beautiful. You may not believe the story of Moses. I happen to. Having read the account in Exodus 19-20, as you look down on the planes far below you can picture the Israelite encampment as Moses received the tablets of stone from God. The mountain looms in its craggy splendour above the plain. It feel like what it is. A place many regard as Holy. The trip was expertly guided. The communication was first rate, delivered with humour and warmth. The trip is also tremendous value. You should book it. You won’t regret it.

Sunrise on Mount Sinai - Beautiful hike! Challenging at the level of hours as you walk at night... but really deserves it. The only flaw was the amount of people climbing the mountain and so you lose a bit the mystical atmosphere of the place

Travel as a couple - It was a wonderful experience. Thanks to our guides who have always been attentive to everything. The walk is not easy for everyone but has the pleasure of climbing Mount Sinai and not trained for the mountain hike there is the opportunity to climb with a camel to the beginning of the staircase. Thank you very much to all the staff

Testy ascent but fabulous spectacle! - demanding climb for non-trailers. The path is rocky and the 750 steps very uneven. You can ride a game with a camel but it’s 20€ one way and 20€ return. If you are offered to help yourself by holding your hand or arm for the 750 steps, be careful it is 20€ more. In short, you need to train a minimum. You have to have a torch because it's not lit. The sunrise is beautiful, a unique sight!

Tour itself is so nice - Basically, the view of Sinai Mountain and the program itself is too good. I don't remember seeing so many stars in my life. However, schedule coordination seems a little weird. There was a hotel somewhere far away, so I contacted them in advance and tried to move separately if the same tour person car pickup time was long, but I replied that there was no problem, but I ended up taking a pickup vehicle in Shellshake for two hours. If this is the case, the pickup person should pick up, or create a checkpoint and give them discretion... The pickup date for the tour started at 9:30 was 07:30 and they only picked up a hotel in the bus for two hours. This is really, really, too annoying. The trip itself was good. The guides also think they are good enough in Egypt.

Mount Sinai - It’s an amazing thing, and if we want to take the hit, the only one would be that the guide could not speak Spanish...
