Amazing 5-day Safari - We had an amazing time during our 5-day Safari. We were lucky to have Silas as our guide for the whole experience and made our time in Tanzania memorable. We have been able to see everything thanks to Silas experience as a guide and his concern about our wellbeing. We truly recommend this experience, thanks a lot Silas!

Un safari indimenticabile! - We participated in a 5 day mid-range group safari and we can say that we had a great time! More than positive note for our guide Luttiba who thought of everything and allowed us to see a lot of animals up close! Agency and guide super recommended!

Omar and Victor made our trip memorable - Couldn’t have imagined how good this trip was going to turn out, and I do think what made a difference was the people we were with. All started great, we went to Serengeti and started to see amazing animals and experiencing all that Tanzania has to offer. From the beginning, Omar was amazing giving us a lot of information, >spotting amazing animals from FAR< (eagle eyes) After a time, we were delighted with our first meal that Victor prepared for us and oh my, how can we have this type of meal, and we continue having those amazing meals ALL the trip (he even made cake and pizza for us, soups were amazing) I can tell you a lot of the trip about why I am amazed by it (animals and landscapes)…. But I can say that our trip was 100% worth it. They changed our itinerary for the best. All was good with the money transactions and they were very helpful before our trip. 100% recommended and ask directly for this amazing tour guide and chef! 🦁 Thank you for everything! We will try to be back or send a lot of friends to this country.

Great Tour - We had 5 amazing days with Lu, who was an extraordinary good guide and driver - this was important in the rainy days in Serengeti and the mud. He tried everything he can to show us as much animals as possible, explained a lot and it was fun to be with him. He had remarkable knowledge about birds and plants as well which made the days very informative. We had a group tour which was ok, however mobilization in the morning took sometimes much longer as expected. Mid range mean that we did not stay in camping spots in Serengeti and Ngorongoro but at Glamping or a lodge, this was a nice add-on to the tour. Also, in terms of organization, i want to say that this was a very positive experience. I was contacted timely regarding pick-up from/to Airport (not part of the booked tour but can be arrange in addition with the tour operator). I can highly recommend to make this tour with Travel africa safari agency

Fantastic experience with Matcha! - We did the 5d Northern Parks Safari this October that takes you to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Personally, we would do it all over again and a 5d trip gives you more than enough time for some top-notch game driving (also the “African massage” while driving gets really exhausting). If you are short on time, particularly the latter two parks are an absolute must see!! We ended up booking with Colors Africa which we can definitely recommend but we were eventually pooled with other couples that have booked with other tour companies including Travel Africa. Unless you book a private safari or your group fills a full car this will happen with every company. As it seemed that there was barely any difference between the various tour providers except their customer service (obviously very important) this wasn’t a problem. However, (and this is a BIG BUT!!!) everyone was booked in different lodges so we ended up spending at least an hour every morning and evening picking up and dropping off every single couple which was just a giant waste of precious holiday time!! Usually, there are three different tiers (budget, mid-range and luxury) and we can only recommend to go for the mid-range upgrade which really makes the experience much more enjoyable. The luxury option only makes sense if you book a private safari because otherwise you will not have a chance to make use of the facilities, as mentioned above. That being said, the most decisive factor for a great safari is neither the tour operator nor the booking tier but your guide. We were exceptionally lucky to have MACHA as our guide who went above and beyond to chase to the best viewing spots, facilitate individual requests and make everyone feel super comfortable. If you have any chance to take the safari with him you should! It will be hard to find a more kind and honest guy out there!

Disappointing - This was a great experience and our tour guide Omary was great, but , instead of the 6 people safari we had 7 which was too much with luggage and lunch box daily. The truck was packed. And having the lunch box if you were sitting in the back slide about hitting you on every bump and turn was more than frustrating. It also made standing up in the back very difficult and accessing the cold box. It seemed the people who made up our tour had actually booked with other tour agencies so it also meant a long round of picking up and dropping off every evening and every morning which made for long days. It would have been nice if we had mostly been staying in the same accommodation and sadly our guide did not stay with us any of the nights, which is seemed most other groups in our accommodation did.We also arrived one night, and they didnt even know we were coming, so we ended up , eventually being put in twin accommodation when actually we had booked single accommodation and this hasn't been taken into account by the agency even though we did discuss this on our return. I didn't see any other safari truck so packed with people. As we also joined the tour group when the others had already done a day we felt like intruders and never really introduced to the group. So I would like to say if you have Omary as a guide you will be very lucky but just beware how these agencies work.
