Safari to die for - I did the two day Tarangire National Park/Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area safari. Our guide Dixon was EXCELLENT. He knew everything about the parks, terrain, climate, animals, and the flora and fauna. What did we see? I’ll start with seeing the Big Five. In Africa, the Big Five game animals are the lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, African bush elephant, and the African buffalo. We also saw zebras, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, ostriches, wart hogs, baboons, many types of monkeys (some of whom stole our bananas at lunch), vultures, and lots of different birds, It was a real life Lion King! Ngorongoro Crater had similar wildlife but we didn't see as many big cats but we did see the Rhino, Hippo, Hyena, and Buffalo. We had plenty of drinks in the cooler and the lunch in both parks was excellent. Fig Tree Lodge was our first night lodging between the two parks and it was clean, cute and quaint. It's not fancy but the rooms are spacious, netting provided around the beds, and the plumbing was - well it's Tanzania, so the shower was "interesting." The food was plentiful and delicious. The only downside - a mosque is nearby and the call to prayer was quite loud. The second night I returned to Arusha after Ngorongoro Crater. The room was included at the hotel where the safari started. I don't remember the name of the hotel but it was extremely bare bones and the noise was constant all night. It's more like a motel with the doors facing outside. The street noise was continuous and I didn't sleep well. The shower barely drained and the water was cold. The bed was comfortable and I slept a bit between the noise. The food was average but the service was excellent. They got me to the airport in a comfortable van in plenty of time. I highly recommend the safari but I advise against the hotel in Arusha.

Awesome safari experience! - Great experience on our 2 day private safari in Tarangire & Ngorongoro with our guide Aaron. We saw so many different animals (even rare ones like cheetahs) and got very detailed and interesting informations from Aaron about the animals, the parks and the local culture. The organization (over WhatsApp) was very efficient, and the car and equipment comfortable and helpful. I would 100% recommend!

Best ever - We don't regret any single dollar we spend on this tour.
Animals were so closed to our car.
The guide was well educaited, and also very kind, and patient. He stop the car everytime we want to stay and watchthe animals.
Also he knows where are the most rare animals like lion, or rhino.
Also the price was really cheap.
They provided ja accommodation without any additional payment.
Everythink was included.

Amazing trip - My trip to tanzania was a last minute plan. Thanks to Mohamed the booking of my trip went well. He was quick to reply and always available to give more information. The trip went as plan and even better. Mohammed and his team are very professional, and always going to the extra miles to satisfy their customer. I was a solo traveler and i never felt lonely Mohamed and his collegues were very nice to show me places in arusha before the safari trip.
Our tour guide in tarangire was a real expert he gave us a lot of information on animal we saw there. I was very lucky to see almost all the big 5 on those 2 days trip (except the leopard). It was a lovely trip that i will not forget thanks to Mohamed and his team.
I will definately recommand the agency!

Best deal - Booked this last minute and glass e chose Travel Africa safari! Mohammed met us at our hotel in Moshi the day before to explain the itinerary. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the office in Arusha to transfer to our safari vehicle. The price included pre and post night stays in lodge rooms at the office building, but we had already booked other accommodations, so didn't use theirs. We did get a free breakfast there, however.
We lucked out as we were the only tourists on the first day as another couple had to changse.their booking date. Scote! Our driver, Luca, was so knowledgeable and pointed out interesting birds, which many other guides ignore.
W states at a lodge nearer to Ngorongoro crater which were simple but adequate, and though we were close to a busy little town, it was quiet and secure. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Travel Africa hires a private chef to prepare our dinner which was quite good. All meals were included for the two days.
Tarangire and the Crater provided diverse safaris and we're happy with our choice, especially as we had limited time. The tour exceeded my expectations. Great value for the price! I highly recommend booking with Travel Africa.
