• Huangpu River - In the evening, your tour guide and private driver will meet you at your hotel lobby and escort you to the Huangpu River Cruise Terminal. Here, you will embark on a serene river cruise along Shanghai’s mother river, the Huangpu River. From the top deck, you can catch a glimpse of Shanghai’s rich history and its promising future. The cruise provides a stunning view of the grand colonial buildings on the west side of the Bund, including the renowned Peace Hotel and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. As you turn to the east, you’ll be greeted by Shanghai’s impressive skyscrapers, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower. (Dinner may be scheduled before the cruise, depending on the sunset time.)

• Pudong New Area - Following your cruise, your guide will lead you to a popular Xinjiang restaurant in Pudong New Area for a delightful halal dinner. Xinjiang cuisine is well-known in China, and you will savor dishes like Dapanji (big plate chicken), lamb kebabs, Xinjiang yogurt, and naan (a type of Xinjiang pancake). Dapanji is a renowned dish, seasoned with mild spices, and includes chopped potatoes and green peppers, typically served with hand-stretched noodles. The lamb kebabs are a local favorite, but if lamb isn’t to your taste, you can opt for chicken wings or other skewers. The restaurant features evening entertainment from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, including cultural and belly dancing performances. If you’re fortunate, the dancers may invite you to join them. After dinner, your guide will return you to your hotel, or if you prefer, they can drop you off at another location, such as Xintiandi.
