Typically, you will visit The Bund, admire the stunning city landmarks along the Huangpu River such as the Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Tower, and World Financial Center. Enjoy a stroll along the river and take a closer look at the historic colonial buildings.
- Jade Buddha Temple - Continue the tour by visiting the beautiful Buddhist temples at the Jade Buddha Temple. Explore the temple complex with its multiple chambers and impressive Buddha statues. Observe the local worshipers and learn about the fascinating religious culture from your guide. (The Jade Buddha Temple closes at 4:20 pm)
- Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Next, head to Yuyuan Garden, an ancient and well-preserved garden with a 400-year history, where you can see the elegant Chinese pavilions and authentic old architecture. If you enjoy shopping and sampling street food, the Yuyuan Bazaar is a great option. (Yuyuan Garden closes at 4 pm and is closed every Monday).
- Former French Concession - Visit the French Concession, the historic center of colonial life. Admire the impressive French-style architecture, learn about Shanghai’s history during the 1840s, and enjoy a pleasant stroll along the walkways lined with beautiful French trees.

A Truly Memorable Tour - My experience with the tour was wonderful. Our tour guide, May was exceptionally friendly, informative and accommodating. My Aunt who is on a wheelchair really enjoyed it. Our driver Ms. Xiao was also great, she made sure the trip went smoothly. They were amazing! Will definitely come back again.

Wonderful Experience Exploring Shanghai - We had a wonderful half-day tour in Shanghai and couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Snow. From the moment we met, Snow was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable right away.
What really stood out was how knowledgeable she was—she shared so many interesting facts and stories that brought each place to life. The tour was well-paced, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish.
Thanks to Snow, we had a great time exploring Shanghai and learned a lot along the way. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Snow as your guide!

Job Well Done Ladies - Kiki and Alana were wonderful. They were very attentive to our needs. Took care of us in every way. Kudos to the driver who opened and closed every car door for us.

Great flexible tour with great tour guide - This is very flexible private tour, we were able to tell our guide where we like to go and how long we wanted. Our tour guide was Kiki. She was very professional and attentive. She accommodated all that we want done and even went out of the way to get my wife some bubble milk tea drinks. Her English was on point and also very friendly. Her main goal as she always tell us is she just want us to have the fun in her and stress free when we are in her country enjoying the beautiful city and we sure did. She managed to have the driver always show up on every each stop that we made and even help my wife bargain with the locals when buying souvenirs and take great pictures for us. Toward the end of the tour we say just leave us at the street market and we can get ourselves a ride back to the hotel once we are done exploring the area. But she did not leave us and really wanted to walk and show us more of the area and then have the driver pick us up and take us back to the hotel, we cant asked for anything else. We were lucky enough to get her as a tour guide. We can tell she loved her career and just want to provide a great experience for the tourists. Thanks Kiki and Alana for a great memory.

Great time in Shanghai - First of all I'd like to thank the tour coordinator Alana. She contacted us ahead of scheduled date, asked about our preferences and priorities, and adjusted the agenda. On day of the tour we met our guide May who was absolutely fantastic! She shared with us not only many facts of past and present of Shanghai, but also with relevant facts of her family's history. She helped us to understand the soul of Chinese people! At the end of the day we visited a local restaurant and tried special local food. We had an excellent time in Shanghai!

Half day tour of Lesser known Shanghai - This half day tour enabled us to set a programme together with our excellent guide , Sophie, which suited the preferences of all three of us. Sophie spoke perfect English and was very knowledgable. We were carefully driven from place to place in a comfortable car.
We visited two temples, the French concession, a tea ceremony and some shops known to Sophie , off the main tourist track.
