It is divided into northern and southern sections, with the south featuring modern architecture and the north showcasing Shikumen old buildings. The museum is modeled after a typical household from the 1920s, featuring seven main exhibition rooms: the guest room, study room, old people’s room, master room, daughter room, pavilion room, and oven room.
