- Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Meet your knowledgeable guide at your hotel lobby. After one hour driving, you will start your exciting sightseeing tour from Zhujiajiao water town. It’s the best-preserved water town in the area with history over 1700 years. There are old bridges, antiquated architecture and bubbling streams. You can wander along the canal, stroll around the old lanes, visit few houses with gardens. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat riding on the canal to see beautiful surrounding. Don’t miss out the opportunity to take some fabulous pictures.
Revitalize yourself with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant where you can have some local delicious dishes.
- Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - In the afternoon, you will go back to Shanghai city, and visit Yuyuan Garden, a very ancient and well-preserved garden with the history of 400years old. You will see the stylish Chinese pavilion and authentic old architectures. Or you will have an alternative option to visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple instead(Yuyuan Garden closed on every Monday).
- The Bund (Wai Tan) - Then, continue to the Bund where you will see amazing city skyline, including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Tower and colonial buildings along the Huangpu River. It surely lights up your whole trip in Shanghai.
- Shanghai Tower - From the Bund, you will visit Shanghai Tower (632 meters), the highest building of China. You will have a panoramic view of the whole city with a 360 degrees dimension from the observatory.

The remaining half day is dedicated to visiting Shanghai city’s most renowned attractions, including the Yu Garden, the breathtaking skyline along the Bund, and a bird’s eye view from the pinnacle of Shanghai Tower. The package includes an authentic Chinese lunch in the water town, boat ride fees, entrance charges to Shanghai Tower, and the services of a private guide and driver.

If you can only do one thing, this is it. - From the beginning communication was extremely organized. I was contacted by the company two days before, to confirm again the pick up address. A guide was a assigned to me the day before, with a brief background. On the day of my tour, my guide, Snow, and our driver arrived as agreed. Snow was very knowledgeable from the state of the country, to the landmarks, and even the mythology behind design elements. If you have a question she’ll know. I had a little hiccup when paying for a coffee, but she was really helpful in assisting me pay for it. The food was great on my lunch stop — too much food, tbh. The car was immaculate, and the driver was quick to pick up up each time. I couldn’t really ask for a better tour.

Must do trip in Shanghai - Snow was an amazing guide! She shared so much information with us and she accommodated our special requests. We went to the water town and Shanghai tower. She also took us to the French Concession area and the Shanghai museum. We had a luxurious bus with massage chairs. We had a delicious lunch and ordered whatever we wanted. She helped us purchase special souvenirs.

Great layover in Shanghai. - This was the perfect way to spend our 20 hour layover in Shanghai. The highlight was Zhujiajiao, the gondala, all the stalls and the local food for lunch was amazing. Our guide Snow was very friendly, informative and made our trip very easy and enjoyable. Good communication before we landed too made it easy and stress free.

Fantastic tour worth every penny - I booked this because I had a 16 hour layover in Shanghai and can say it was worth every penny. Everything was fantastic!
Caroline was so friendly and eager and happy to show everything, take heaps of photos and help with anything i needed, including translating at shops, helping me download a payment app and negotiating prices.
The places i visited were absolutely breathtaking and exceeded any expectation I had. Nothing felt rushed, I was able to enjoy and take in every spot and get a lot of info about the history, culture and traditions thanks to Caroline.
She answered every question I had about the temples, religion, traditions, history and added a lot of info at every spot we went to.
The pick up, drop off and all entries were so easy I didnt have to worry about anything.
I can not recommend this trip enough for anyone visiting the area.

Amazing experience for families - One of the best experiences we ever had! I’m someone who likes to plan things ahead and absolutely hates surprises.. this guided tour ticked all the boxes for me! From the driver who arrived on time, and picked us from the airport, helped us with our bags although it was not part of the package.
The tour guide (Blair) is very knowledgeable and helped us going through majority of Shanghai highlights in 8 hours. Yu Garden, the bund, water city, Shanghai tower.. Excellent recommendation on food (and street food).
I can’t recommend this tour enough for people with short transit in Shanghai. It’s like a crash course on the diverse and multicultural city of Shanghai, both ancient and modern.

The perfect layover - What an amazing experience! This was my first time in Asia, with only sunrise till evening to explore between flights, and everyone involved (tour manager Alana, driver, and guide Mary) made me feel very welcome. I was picked up on time in a clean and comfy tesla that smelled like fresh flowers and had water bottles available (small gestures but it meant the world after my long flight), then given an engaging overview of the history and culture by my guide and shown a beautiful mix of modern and traditional Shanghai throughout the day. My favourite part was probably the delicious fried rice and wontons overlooking the canals of Zhujiajiao, and the sunset views at The Bund. I'm usually quite a budget traveler (hostels, public transport, etc) so a private tour was a splurge for me, but given how much of the usual travel stress you can encounter that the tour alleviated, I'd definitely say it was worth every cent. Shanghai old and new - I have been numerous times to Shanghai, but this tour was by far the best we have taken in this wondrous city. It was a wonderful mix of old and new, including authentic local food at lunchtime. Our tour guide Xin was an extremely good companion for the day, she was informative, helpful and unfailingly friendly, we could not have asked for more. Highly recommend this tour...

Great experience! - Very well organized tour with the kindest of tourguides May. Beautiful views and amazing food. The personal driver and spacious car were very nice to get from one place to the next without having to wait anywhere.
