An unforgettable day - We had the most wonderful day from door to door, and highly recommend this tour with Snow, our tour guide. Every aspect was personalized, from gaining confidence using the fast train system to visiting a green tea farmer, this tour was paced to suit us and our interests. The lunch venue was exceptional as well. Snow answered our many questions and gave us a window into modern Chinese life as well as historical legends, stories and beliefs. Every aspect of the travel - car and bullet train - was seamless. Snow was an impeccable guide all the way. Our hearts are full.

Great tour with guide - We had a wonderful day trip to Hangzhou. Berlin, our tour guide has been excellent in many ways. Friendly, caring and most of all she is very knowledgeable and has provided us with lots of insights to the history throughout this trip. Very attentive on details to ensure minimum disruptions or delay to schedules. Very comfortable having Berlin as our guide. Highly recommened on this tour with Berlin.

Adventure filled day of exploration - If you're looking for an action packed informative tour, look no further! We had a genuinely lovely day going on a tour around West Lake, then out to enjoy the scenic views of the tea mountains, followed by a delicious lunch with incredible local food topped with dessert of lovely sweetbread and ice cream. We finished the tour off by visiting Buddhist temples. Caroline was informative, welcoming, inclusive and so lovely with her infectious positivity, she made the day one to be remembered. Alana and Caroline make an incredible team and will troubleshoot and take all the pressure off so you can have a relaxing and enjoyable day.

Beautiful lake, landscape, and temples - The photos of Hangzhou do not do it justice, it is absolutely stunning. The day is well put together with the 3 main attractions at west lake (UNESCO site), the tea plantation, and the Lingyin Temple. The lunch is at the most beautiful restaurant, a real gem. This tour really is a must do. My only regret is that I did not have Alana at Amazing Shanghai Trip book us for overnight in Hangzhou so we could spend a day hiking at the tea plantation.
Our tour guide Lin was great. She made time for all the millions of photos we wanted to take and was really friendly and funny. She was knowledgeable about all the history of the temple and the periods in which various sections were built or Buddhas added. I asked a lot of detailed questions and she really knows her Chinese history. Lin even made sure to especially ask for ice for us (since we’re American’s, and we’re world renowned for our love of ice). I really appreciated her attention to detail and care for us.

Beautiful Hangzhou - Had an enjoyable trip with our guide, Berlin. The boat ride at the West Lake was beautiful, lunch at the tea house was delicious and we learned a lot from Berlin at the Lingyin Temple. Berlin made sure we had a comfortable trip and took care of all the logistics. Highly recommended.

Great experience! Must do if visiting Shanghai! - Our guide, Queena was very kind and knowledgeable. She guided us through the busy train station, and helped us get new tickets when our scheduled bullet train got delayed.
We had a really great lunch and she made suggestions for food I wouldn’t have normally tried. It was all very good!
We got to see amazing sights that I don’t think I would have found on my own without a tour guide.
This is the second tour while in Shanghai we have booked with this company. Alana, the tour coordinator, messages you and helps you customize your trip prior to. It was all extremely helpful and organized. We booked a 3rd tour for our last day here due to great service.

Amazing Hangzhou made doubly amazing by a good tour guide - Caroline is a very cheerful and happy person, bringing smiles and joys throughout the trip. She is very nice and polite not only to us but to the drivers and the people we met during the trip. She is easy going and easy to talk to. She is also very knowledgeable, sharing with us a lot of information about the places and things. She is caring and making sure that we are well taken care of, looking out for us, for eg making sure we are seated at the right seats, asking us if we are tired, if we need a drink, be careful of wet floor and steps etc. We are grateful for her services and help and guidance today. The tour to Hangzhou as amazing as it can get by itself, can only be made more wonderful if every tour operator has a leader like her.

great trip - We had a wonderful day with our guide Caroline on our trip to Hangzhou. Caroline was nice, helpful, and always cheerful, which made our tour even more enjoyable. We began our adventure with a scenic boat ride on West Lake, soaking in the beautiful natural views. After a leisurely stroll around the lake, we visited a charming tea village. Lunch at the Green Tea Restaurant in the village was a highlight, with delicious food that I loved. Our tour continued to Feilai Peak, where we marveled at the intricate stone Buddha carvings, and then to the peaceful Lingyin Temple. Although the tour was long, it was a delightful and enriching experience. We returned to our hotel in Shanghai by train, with many fond memories of Hangzhou and our lovely guide, Caroline.

Wonderful experience in Hangzhou - Excelent, everyting was very very nice…not only Hangzhou by itself, also without exaggeration Caroline IS a top 3 performer as a guide for me in all my trips…very aware of our necessities and security at all times, hanger to talk to us about history and local customs and buddism, also very funny and nice…i really like her a lot…we spend a wonderful time with her…100% recommended
