• Shanghai - Meet your Shanghai local driver in the early morning (departure time and train ticket details will be confirmed once you confirm the tour; further details will be discussed via email). You’ll be transferred to Shanghai Hongqiao high-speed train station, where you’ll receive your round-trip train tickets from the driver and catch the morning high-speed train to Hangzhou. Keep your tickets handy as they may be checked again during the journey or at the Hangzhou train station exit.

• West Lake (Xi Hu) - Your first stop is West Lake, the most famous attraction in Hangzhou, known for its scenic beauty that draws tourists from around the globe. Stroll along the lake, enjoy the stunning views of pavilions, pagodas, and embankments, and listen to the folk tale of the Legend of the White Snake from your guide. You can then choose to take a West Lake cruise or a small boat ride on the lake to spend your leisure time.

• Huagang Park - Next, visit the Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond (HuaGang Park), one of the ten scenes of West Lake, where you can enjoy a delightful fish viewing experience.

• Lingyin Temple - Proceed to Lingyin Temple, located in the Feilaifeng scenic area. Lingyin Temple is one of China’s top ten ancient Buddhist monasteries, known for its size, wealth, and numerous pagodas and Buddhist grottoes. On the way to the temple, you’ll see many grottos and religious rock carvings.

• Hangzhou East Railway Station East Square - After your tour in Hangzhou, you’ll be transferred back to Hangzhou East Railway Station to catch the high-speed train back to Shanghai around 17:00-18:00. Upon arrival in Shanghai, a Chinese-speaking driver will meet you at the Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (South exit) and transfer you back to your downtown hotel in Shanghai, concluding your trip.
