Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Next, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the beautiful Yu Garden. Located in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its ingenious layout and delicate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), an artificial hill, is one of the three most renowned peaks in Southern China.
Yuyuan Old Street - Then, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden in the heart of Old Shanghai City, near the Old City God Temple. Traditional Chinese buildings now serve as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.
Shanghai World Financial Center - Afterwards, visit the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic city views. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest structure in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second highest observation deck in China, surpassing the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).
The Bund (Wai Tan) - Next, visit the Bund area, the essence of Shanghai. Located on the Huangpu River bank, travelers visit the Bund for its charming riverside scenery and unique western and gothic architecture. Free time will be provided to explore the Bund and take photos.
Shanghai - Finally, you’ll be driven back to your hotel, or you may enjoy your own time at nearby Nanjing Road.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Zhujiajiao water town is renowned nationwide, with a history of over 1,700 years. Covering 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), this fan-shaped town, known as Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a bright pearl amid lakes and mountains. Three places in the water town are worth visiting: Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge. Your tour guide will accompany you to these sites.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, the Jade Buddha Temple is a famous Buddhist shrine and active Zen monastery. The temple plays a significant role in spreading Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures, library services, Buddhist academic publications, and regular cultural activities.
Tianzifang - Later, conclude at Tianzifang, an old-style cultural block featuring distinctive Shikumen buildings with art studios, themed cafés and bars, and handicraft workshops.
Pudong International Airport - At the end, your guide will escort you to Shanghai Pudong airport for your flight to Chongqing. You may take the HU7407 20:20–23:30, a 3-hour flight.

Chengdu - In the morning, your driver and guide will meet you at 8:00 AM at your Chengdu hotel, then transfer to Chengdu Panda Base, a 30-minute drive, 15 km away.
Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - First, visit Chengdu’s Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, home to over 80 of China’s iconic pandas. Most are the familiar black and white variety, but the Base also houses several smaller, lesser-known red pandas.
You’ll observe the animals eating and playing in a carefully maintained habitat that closely resembles their natural environment. You’ll also learn how scientists and ecologists work to protect the few remaining wild pandas and expand the captive population. Over 100 bears have been born at the Base since 1987.
The Base gained importance after the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, with eight bears relocated here from the severely damaged Wolong reserve. Your visit provides both moral and financial support for ongoing conservation efforts.
Chengdu Renmin Park - Next, visit Renmin Park, a comprehensive garden for cultural heritage collection and entertainment. Locals in Chengdu often relax by drinking tea here. You won’t understand the real “Capital of Leisure” lifestyle until you visit Renmin Park. Crowds gather in the park’s shade from sunrise. The best activities include visiting a teahouse, ordering tea, reading all afternoon, thinking about nothing, or chatting with old friends. Enjoying Chengdu’s slow life, you may suddenly feel you’re leading a happy life.
Jinli Pedestrian Street - After lunch, take a private car to Jinli old street for an impressive trip to the famous old street. Time slips away quietly while walking on lively streets filled with delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, interesting folk shows, and more.

Chengdu - After breakfast at your hotel, your driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00 AM, then transfer to Leshan, a 2.5-hour drive, 150 km away.
Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - Dating from the 8th century, the Giant Buddha of Leshan is the largest carved stone Buddha and the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. It was carved from Lingyun Shan cliffs to calm the turbulent waters of the three rivers flowing beneath its gaze. Stairs carved into the cliff connect the area at the Buddha’s feet with the land above, allowing you to view this astonishing sight from various vantage points. Views are stunning over elbows and knees, taking in the river scene and Leshan’s skyline.
Upon arrival in Leshan, you can have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Giant Buddha. You’ll then explore the Giant Buddha and enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding landscape from atop the Buddha’s head.
Visit Lingyun Temple and Museum to gain deeper insight into this amazing Buddhist site’s history and learn the story of the Giant Buddha’s carving.

Xi’an - In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at your Xi’an hotel lobby at 9:00 AM, then transfer to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, an 80-minute drive, 45 km away.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Your guide will reserve tickets for you online in advance and help you skip the line at the Museum entrance. Following your guide, you’ll explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum by visiting the three excavated pits and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Although the clay warriors and horses have been buried for over 2,200 years, they remain vivid with distinct appearances. You’ll spend at least two and a half hours exploring this amazing site.
Small Goose Pagoda - Next, transfer to Small Wild Goose Pagoda, located inside Jianfu Temple, about one kilometer south of Xi’an city proper. It is one of two famous and important Buddhist pagodas erected in the Tang Dynasty about 1,300 years ago. Small Wild Goose Pagoda and its large neighbor, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, are two important Buddhist sites dating back to the Tang Dynasty, 1,300 years ago.
The two pagodas symbolized Chang’an (Constant Peace) city. Xi’an (West Peace) was called Chang’an until the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), when Beijing became China’s capital. Chang’an served as the capital for ten dynasties.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, transfer to the city wall. You can walk or cycle around the wall, with bike fees paid locally if you choose to cycle.
The first landmark visitors encounter in Xi’an is the ancient City Wall, which encircles the old city. It is also one of Xi’an’s most famous attractions. Today, this wall represents one of the oldest and best-preserved Chinese city walls, as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Muslim Quarter - Your last stop will be the Muslim Bazaar, the city’s most thriving area. If interested, you can explore the bazaar at your own pace and return to the hotel independently. Your guide will provide directions for returning to your hotel. The Great Mosque and the Bell and Drum Tower Square are within walking distance of the Bazaar. There are many boutique stores with fair prices in the Bazaar and numerous excellent dining options for dinner.
Xi’an - At the end, your guide will escort you to your hotel.

Xi’an - In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at your Xi’an hotel lobby at 8:30 AM, then transfer to Hanyanglin, a 30-minute drive, 15 km away.
Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) - The Hanyangling Mausoleum, located on the site of the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi, was built in 153 AD. With the guide, you’ll closely examine the thousand-year-old tombs through glass floors and walls in the tomb pits. Additionally, the advanced Spectra Vision program will recreate the real life of the Western Han Dynasty about 2,000 years ago. You’ll have two hours to explore the site.
Shaanxi History Museum - After lunch, continue the Xi’an group tour to explore the Shaanxi History Museum. The unique historical and cultural heritage of Shaanxi is undoubtedly praiseworthy as a treasure house of Chinese civilization, and the Shaanxi History Museum is a palace of art displaying Shaanxi’s history and culture and China’s ancient civilization. The museum houses approximately 370,000 antiquities, ranging from prehistoric relics to those from the 1840s. The collection spans over one million years and is superior in value, quantity, rank, and species. Your guide will provide professional explanations.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, you’ll have a photo stop here for half an hour. Based on suggestions from previous guests, it’s enough to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty, was once the site for Xuanzang to translate Buddhist sutras.
Today, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda Area is the most popular area for both tourists and locals in Xi’an. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy charming night scenes and relax. Around the pagoda, there’s a south square leading to the Great Tang All Day Mall, where you can appreciate many unique Tang Dynasty-style sculptures and enjoy classical music performances in public. There’s also a north square with the biggest musical fountain in Asia. It’s free but follows a show schedule.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - At the end, your guide will escort you to Xi’an airport for your flight to Guilin. You may take the CA1225 18:40-20:50, a 2-hour flight.
Guilin Liangjiang International Airport - Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be picked up on time and transferred to the hotel (Driver only, no guide).

Guilin - Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby around 08:30 AM. You’ll be taken to the renowned Reed Flute Cave, a 30-minute drive away.
Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Upon arrival at the cave, you’ll enter the underground karst cave and marvel at the amazing formations of stalagmites and stalactites.
The Reed Flute Cave is a famous karst cave with numerous stalagmites and stalactites in the shapes of bamboo shoots, pillars, curtains, and flowers, transforming it into a splendid underground palace. Inside the cave, you’ll discover more astonishing sights, such as stone lions, miniature forests, pagodas, and crystal chambers. Each has a romantic or interesting story associated with it. The guide’s vivid interpretation, along with the lighting, adds mystery to the scene. The cave visit lasts about 40 minutes.
Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - After a two-hour drive, you’ll reach the entrance for the Longji Terraces, where you’ll purchase entrance tickets for the rice terraces in Ping’an Village. This village has the most famous and beautiful rice terraces in Longji and requires another 30-minute drive.
The Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces is a magnificent agricultural spectacle with a history of over 650 years. The most striking part of the terrace cluster is the Ping’an Village Rice Terrace, the first discovered by tourists and photographers. Numerous narrow rice fields dug along hill slopes form terraces connected by winding flagstone trails. Viewing platforms allow visitors to see the entire terrace fields built tier upon tier. While there, you can also experience the minority Zhuang people’s traditional way of life. It’s quite interesting to help them in the fields, try on their bright-colored ethnic costumes, and visit their unique stilted houses.
Ping’an Village - Upon arrival, you’ll take a moderate trek along steps to Ping’an Zhuang Village. The walk up takes about 40 minutes. Your guide will take you on a stroll around the village, where you can glimpse the local Zhuang people’s unique wooden stilted houses, and you’ll have lunch in the village.
After a short lunch break, continue your terrace exploration to the No.2 Viewing Platform (Seven Star with the Moon), a 15-minute walk, which is a fantastic spot for a bird’s-eye view of the Longji Terraces beneath your feet. You’ll have enough time to take pictures and enjoy the fresh air at the platform. Then, head to No.1 Viewing Platform (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers), a 30-minute walk along a flat path.
Guilin - Afterwards, take a private car to your Guilin hotel around 6:00 PM, and enjoy free time.

Guilin - In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel around 07:45 AM, then escort you to the Zhujiang pier, where you’ll start the Guilin Li River cruise to Yangshuo (4-star boat with buffet lunch).
Li River - Boarding is scheduled for 9:20 AM, and the journey takes about 4 hours. With your guide’s company and interpretation, you can immerse yourself in the stunning karst landscape of rolling hills, verdant forests, odd caves, and tranquil villages along the Li River. A buffet Chinese lunch will be offered on board before reaching Yangshuo at 2:00 PM.
Xianggong Mountain - After disembarkation, you’ll drive to see Yangshuo Xianggong Hill. You’ll climb for 15 minutes along a moderately sloped staircase to reach the top of Xianggong Hill. Please inform your guide in advance if you need a walking stick. Situated between the famous Yellow Cloth Shoal and Mural Hill, Xianggong Hill is one of the greatest viewing platforms in Guilin to appreciate the Li River’s beauty. The supreme view of the meandering Li River making a 180-degree bend attracts countless visitors and photographers annually.
Guilin - At the end, your guide will escort you to your Yangshuo hotel or Guilin hotel/airport/train station. End of tour services.
