Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - At the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, visitors can explore numerous textual and graphic files and architectural models, providing a comprehensive understanding of Shanghai’s development.

The Urban Planning Exhibition Hall highlights Shanghai’s urbanization and modernization. Visitors can learn about Shanghai’s history and current state by viewing city miniatures and extensive city planning materials. High-tech methods are used to project Shanghai’s blueprint through 2020.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Next, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the picturesque Yu Garden. Situated in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its clever layout and intricate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), an artificial hill, is one of the three most renowned peaks in Southern China.

Yuyuan Old Street - Then, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden, in the heart of Old Shanghai City, and near the Old City God Temple. The area features many traditional Chinese buildings now serving as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.

Shanghai World Financial Center - Afterwards, visit the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic city views. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest structure in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second-highest observation deck in China, surpassing the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).

The Bund (Wai Tan) - Following that, visit the Bund area, a quintessential part of Shanghai. Located on the Huangpu River bank, travelers visit the Bund for its charming riverside scenery and unique Western and Gothic architecture. Free time will be provided to explore the Bund and take photos.

Shanghai - Finally, the operator will be driven back to the hotel, or they may enjoy free time at nearby Nanjing Road.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Zhujiajiao water town is famous nationwide, with a history of over 1,700 years. Covering 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), this fan-shaped town, known as Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a bright pearl amid lakes and mountains. Three places in the water town are worth visiting: Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge. The tour guide will accompany the operator to these sites.

Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, the operator will visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, the Jade Buddha Temple is a renowned Buddhist shrine and active Zen monastery. The temple plays a significant role in spreading Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures, library services, Buddhist academic publications, and regular cultural activities.

Tianzifang - Later, the tour will conclude at Tianzifang, an old-style cultural block featuring distinctive Shikumen buildings with art studios, themed cafés and bars, and handicraft workshops.

Chongqing Chaotianmen - The cruise is scheduled to arrive in Chongqing around 07:30 to 08:00, marking the end of the ship ride. The guide will meet the operator on board and transfer them to Chongqing Wulong Karst, requiring a 3-hour drive.

Wulong Karst geological park - Wulong, known for its unique karst landforms, boasts stunning stone bridges, caves, pits, eroded sinkholes, and gorges. Wulong gained fame among foreign tourists due to Michael Bay’s hit movie – Transformers: Age of Extinction, which showcased the majestic beauty of the Three Natural Bridges in Wulong. Besides the famous movie site, other interesting natural attractions include Furong Cave, Longshuixia Gap, and Fairy Mountain.

Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges - After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, the splendid Chongqing Wulong karst tour begins with the Three Natural Bridges, the essential scenic feature of this world heritage area. Exquisitely sculpted by nature, the three giant stone arch bridges are real wonders not found anywhere else in the world. Inside the tranquil scenic area, visitors can embrace the rugged beauty of the mountain bridges and gorges by meandering along the narrow path at the valley’s bottom.

During the 2 - 2.5 hours visit, there will also be a stop at an ancient staging post near Qinglong Bridge, constructed during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) for handling official business and receiving guests. The wooden-structured courtyards are well-preserved, with more than 20 rooms remaining.

Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - Upon arrival in Xi’an, the operator will be picked up promptly and transferred to the Terracotta Army, requiring a 60-minute drive.

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - The guide will reserve tickets online in advance and help the operator skip the line at the Museum entrance. Following the guide, the operator will explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum by visiting the three excavated pits and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Although the clay warriors and horses have been buried for over 2,200 years, they remain vivid with distinct appearances. The operator will spend at least two and a half hours at this amazing site.

Xi’an - At the end, the guide will escort the operator to the hotel.

Shaanxi History Museum - Next, the Xi’an tour continues to explore the Shaanxi History Museum. The unique historical and cultural heritage of Shaanxi is undoubtedly worth the praise as a treasure house of Chinese civilization, and the Shaanxi History Museum is a palace of art displaying Shaanxi’s history and culture and China’s ancient civilization. There are approximately 370,000 antiquities collected, ranging from prehistoric relics to those of the 1840s. The time span is over one million years, and the collection is superior in value, quantity, rank, and species. The guide will provide professional explanations.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, there will be a photo stop here for half an hour. Based on suggestions from former guests, it is enough to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda built during the Tang Dynasty was once the site for Xuanzang to translate the Buddhist sutras.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At Tiananmen Square, visitors can take great photos of the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to People’s Heroes, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao. Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing City. Over the past hundreds of years, it has witnessed numerous historical events and assemblies. Nowadays, it serves as a venue for grand celebrations, military parades, and welcoming ceremonies for foreign leaders. Visitors can admire the towering Monument to People’s Heroes and the solemn Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao on the square. The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and is one of the most famous sections of the Wall. Temple of Heaven - The operator will first visit the Temple of Heaven. It is the largest royal ceremonial building group in China. Emperors in the past used to hold annual sacrificial activities here to worship heaven and pray for a good harvest. Now it has developed into a large park where local people engage in exercises and other recreational activities.

Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Next, the visit continues to Beijing Hutong. There, the operator will take a rickshaw through the old alleys and visit a Hutong family to see how the old Beijingers live. The area features many popular restaurants, cafes, and local food stores, so lunch may be enjoyed there. It is a great opportunity to taste local food. The guide will offer suggestions. After lunch, the operator can stroll around Houhai Lake and explore more of the Hutong area.

Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - After the Hutong visit, the operator will be driven to the Lama Temple, regarded as the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing. Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Upon arrival at the cave, the operator will enter the underground karst cave and marvel at the amazing formations of stalagmites and stalactites.

The Reed Flute Cave is a renowned karst cave with numerous stalagmites and stalactites in shapes of bamboo shoots, pillars, curtains, and flowers, turning it into a splendid underground palace. Inside the cave, the operator could discover more astonishing sights, such as stone lions, miniature forests, pagodas, and crystal chambers. Each has a romantic or interesting story associated with it. The vivid interpretation by the guide, along with the lighting, adds mystery to the scene. The cave visit lasts about 40 minutes.

Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - After a two-hour drive, the operator will reach the entrance for the Longji Terraces and obtain the Longji entrance tickets for the rice terraces in Ping’an Village. This village has the most famous and beautiful rice terraces in Longji.

The Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces is a splendid agricultural spectacle with a history of over 650 years. The most eye-catching part of the terrace cluster is the Ping’an Village Rice Terrace, the earliest one discovered by tourists and photographers. Numerous narrow rice fields dug along the hill slopes form terraces connected by winding flagstone trails. There are viewing platforms for visitors to view the entire terrace fields built tier upon tier. While there, the operator can also experience the minority Zhuang people’s traditional way of life. It is quite interesting to help them in the fields, try on their bright-colored ethnical costumes, and visit their unique stilted houses.

Ping’an Village - Upon arrival, the operator will take a moderate trek along steps to Ping’an Zhuang Village. The walk up takes about 40 minutes. Then, the tour will head to No.1 Viewing Platform (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers), requiring a 30-minute walk via the flat path.

Guilin - In the morning, the guide and driver will pick up the operator from the hotel around 07:45 AM, and then escort them to the Zhujiang pier, where the Guilin Li River cruise to Yangshuo will start (4-star boat with buffet lunch).

Li River - The boarding time is scheduled at 9:20 AM, and the whole journey takes about 4 hours. With the guide’s company and interpretation, the operator could immerse themselves in the stunning karst landscape made up of rolling hills, verdant forests, odd caves, and tranquil villages along the Li River. A buffet Chinese lunch will be offered on board before reaching Yangshuo at 2:00 PM.

Xianggong Mountain - After disembarkation, the operator will be driven to see the Yangshuo Xianggong Hill. They will climb for 15 minutes along a moderately sloped staircase to reach the top of Xianggong Hill. Please inform the guide in advance if a walking stick is needed. Lying between the famous Yellow Cloth Shoal and the Mural Hill, Xianggong Hill is one of the greatest viewing platforms in Guilin to take in the glamour of the Li River. The supreme view of the meandering Li River making a 180-degree bend attracts countless visitors and photographers annually.
