Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - At this venue, visitors can explore various textual and graphic files and architectural models, providing a comprehensive understanding of Shanghai’s development.
The Exhibition Hall highlights Shanghai’s urbanization and modernization. Guests will learn about the city’s past and present through city miniatures and extensive planning materials. High-tech methods are used to project Shanghai’s blueprint through 2020.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Next, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the picturesque Yu Garden. Situated in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its clever layout and delicate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), is an artificial hill and one of Southern China’s three most renowned peaks.
Yuyuan Old Street - Afterwards, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden in the heart of Old Shanghai City, near the Old City God Temple. Traditional Chinese buildings now serve as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.
Shanghai World Financial Center - Then, head to the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic city views. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second highest observation deck in China, surpassing the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).
The Bund (Wai Tan) - Next, visit the Bund area, a quintessential part of Shanghai. Located on the Huangpu River bank, visitors come for the charming riverside scenery and the unique western and gothic architecture. Free time will be provided to explore the Bund and take photos.
Shanghai - Finally, guests will be driven back to their hotel, or they may enjoy free time at nearby Nanjing Road.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Known nationwide, Zhujiajiao water town boasts a history of over 1,700 years. Covering 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), this fan-shaped town, often called Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a pearl amid lakes and mountains. Visitors will explore Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge with their tour guide.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, guests will visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, it is a famous Buddhist shrine and active Zen monastery. The temple plays a significant role in spreading Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures, library services, academic publications, and regular cultural activities.
Tianzifang - The tour concludes at Tianzifang, a cultural block featuring distinctive Shikumen buildings with art studios, themed cafés and bars, and handicraft workshops.
Shanghai - At the end, the guide will escort guests back to their hotel.

Pudong International Airport - This morning, there are no activities planned, just a flight to Yichang to catch the Yangtze River cruise boat. Guests may book the MU2676 15:05-17:10.

Chongqing Chaotianmen - The cruise is scheduled to arrive in Chongqing around 07:30 to 08:00, marking the end of the ship ride. The guide will meet guests on board and transfer them to Chongqing Wulong Karst, a 3-hour drive.
Wulong Karst Geological Park - Wulong, known for its unique karst landforms, features stunning stone bridges, caves, pits, eroded sinkholes, and gorges. It gained fame among foreign tourists due to Michael Bay’s movie “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” showcasing the majestic beauty of Wulong’s Three Natural Bridges. Other natural attractions include Furong Cave, Longshuixia Gap, and Fairy Mountain.
Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges - After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, the Chongqing Wulong karst tour begins with the Three Natural Bridges, the main scenic feature of this world heritage area. Sculpted by nature, these three giant stone arch bridges are unique wonders. Visitors can enjoy the rugged beauty of the mountain bridges and gorges by walking along the narrow valley path.
During the 2 - 2.5 hours visit, guests will also stop by an ancient staging post near Qinglong Bridge, built during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) for official business and guest reception. The wooden-structured courtyards are well-preserved, with over 20 rooms remaining.
After some free time to explore, the Wulong trip from Chongqing concludes. Guests will be transferred back to their hotel, arriving around 18:30.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport - In the morning at 8 AM, the guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby and drive them to Chongqing airport for a flight to Xi’an. Guests may book the MU2262 10:35-12:05.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - Upon arrival in Xi’an, guests will be promptly picked up and transferred to the Terracotta Army, a 60-minute drive.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - The guide will reserve tickets online in advance, allowing guests to skip the entrance line. Following the guide, guests will explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum, visiting the three excavated pits and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Despite being buried for over 2,200 years, the clay warriors and horses remain vivid with distinct appearances. Guests will spend at least two and a half hours at this remarkable site.
Xi’an - At the end, the guide will escort guests to their hotel.

It is one of Xi’an’s most famous attractions and represents one of the oldest and best-preserved Chinese city walls, as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Shaanxi History Museum - Next, the Xi’an tour continues at the Shaanxi History Museum. The unique historical and cultural heritage of Shaanxi is undoubtedly praiseworthy as a treasure house of Chinese civilization. The museum is a palace of art displaying Shaanxi’s history and culture and China’s ancient civilization. It houses approximately 370,000 antiquities, ranging from prehistoric relics to those from the 1840s. The collection spans over a million years and is superior in value, quantity, rank, and species. The guide will provide professional explanations.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, guests will have a photo stop for half an hour. Based on suggestions from previous guests, this is sufficient to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty, was once the site for Xuanzang to translate Buddhist sutras.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - At the end, the guide will escort guests to Xi’an airport for a flight to Beijing. Guests may book the MF7198 19:00–21:30. The flight takes around 2.5 hours.
Beijing Daxing International Airport - Upon arrival in Beijing, guests will be picked up on time and transferred to the hotel (Driver only, no guide).

Beijing - Today, the tour guide will meet guests in the Beijing hotel lobby at 8:00 AM. They will first be escorted to Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At Tiananmen Square, guests can take great photos of the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to People’s Heroes, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao. Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing City. Over the past hundreds of years, it has witnessed numerous historical events and assemblies. Today, it hosts grand celebrations, military parades, and welcoming ceremonies for foreign leaders. Visitors can admire the towering Monument to People’s Heroes and the solemn Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao on the square. Traditional Tiananmen Tower, Zhengyang Gate, and Qianmen Arrow Tower are also present.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Next, guests will cross the Tiananmen Tower to visit the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911) lived and managed national affairs. Serving as the imperial palace during these dynasties, the Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved old wooden complex in the world. The palace is divided into the Inner Court and Outer Court by the Palace of Heavenly Purity, with the outer court for handling affairs and the inner court as the imperial family’s living quarters. The complex is also a vast museum with over one million national treasures on display.
Mutianyu Great Wall - Upon arrival at the scenic area’s parking lot, guests will take an electric car to the entry and then a chairlift up to the 14th watchtower. They will enjoy a leisurely hike on the wall for about 2 hours, ending with a toboggan ride down. The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and is one of the most famous sections of the Wall. Mutianyu is renowned for its unique features. Guests can explore the ancient structure and learn about its history and significance. The professional guide will answer questions and share exclusive stories and facts about the Mutianyu Great Wall.
Beijing - At the end, guests will be escorted to their Beijing hotel.

Beijing - In the morning, the guide and driver will pick up guests from their hotel to continue the Beijing tour.
Temple of Heaven - The first stop is the Temple of Heaven, the largest royal ceremonial building group in China. In the past, emperors held annual sacrificial activities here to worship heaven and pray for a good harvest. Today, it is a large park where visitors can see locals exercising and engaging in recreational activities.
Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Next, guests will visit Beijing Hutong, where they will take a rickshaw through the old alleys and visit a Hutong family to see how old Beijingers live. The area features popular restaurants, cafes, and local food stores, offering a chance to taste local cuisine. The guide will provide suggestions. After lunch, guests can stroll around Houhai Lake and explore more of the Hutong area.
Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - After visiting the Hutong, guests will be driven to the Lama Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing. It combines architectural styles from various groups, including Han, Manchu, Mongol, and Tibet. Opened to tourists in 1981, it attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually for prayer and sightseeing.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - A 30-minute drive will take guests to the Summer Palace, known as the museum of ancient royal gardens. The expert guide will lead the tour. The garden mainly consists of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. The Long Corridor, 728 meters (796.2 yards) long, is the longest corridor in Chinese gardens. It connects Longevity Hill with Kunming Lake, featuring exquisite murals and melodious music.
Beijing - Finally, the guide and driver will escort guests back to the hotel/airport/train station, marking the end of the 11-day tour services.
