Explore the mysteries of Little India - Rachel is the best tour guide we have ever seen! She is excellent, lovely and definitely a superb storyteller and very insightful. We like and appreciate the way and attitude Rachel organized the tour with details, patience and her true passion before, during and after the tour which made our Little India time a very interesting, informative and memorable. Tasting local foods and walking through wet market were also an amazing part of the arrangements to get to know more about the culture and tradition. Highly recommend Rachel and you will always get surprise from her.

Fascinating Little India! - Enjoyed the tour tremendously! Even though Little India is like within the Singapore backyard, there were still gems of knowledge my husband and I got to know today! Rachel is such a personable and passionate guide. She takes every effort to make history "come alive". Drawing from her research and experience, she breezes us through a most enjoyable time down the "back streets" of little India to Jln Besar, dropping little tips and nuggets for the time-tested traveller. I am proud to support such quality local tours like these! Keep it up guys! :)

Interactive and informative - Joined the tour with a friend and group size was 5 in total inclusive of our guide, Rachel. Rachel is an exceptional guide who takes time to familiarise with us and has enriched us with tidbits of information on the historical background of the sites seen at Little India. Her rich knowledge of the place is clearly demonstrated in her bringing us to places where we can get magnificent bird's eye view of the landscape of Little India. Depsite the heavy rain, she was flexible in the tour schedule and was accommodating in checking with our schedule and extending the tour to 4 hrs to ensure that we still get to enjoy the full experience of the tour when the rain died down. The impressive depth and range of places, food and information covered makes it worth the price for the tour.

A lovely and informative tour around Little India - I joined the tour with a friend, and a couple haf also signed up for the tour separately so there were five of us in total with our tour guide, Rachel. The tour group's small, which makes for a much more discussive atmosphere and even though I'm Singaporean myself, I've taken away quite a fair bit from the tour. Unfortunately, it rained pretty heavily during the tour but Rachel re-arranged our itinerary and we started off with some food at Tekka hawker centre and a look through the wet market. She went through the history behind how hawker centres were started, how the dishes are made and some ingredients in the wet market. Once the rain had died down into a drizzle, she led us through Little India and shared about how Little India has 'evolved' over time including pointing out some relics from building projects and architectural features of cultural importance. She also gave us several food recommendations, which is always a plus. 😊 The tour took a total of almost 4 h. Overall, despite the more expensive price tag, I do think the small group tour Rachel provides is a really informative and personal experience. If you'd like to learn more about Singapore, Rachel and her tours with Curious Culture is definitely worth going for.

Terrific tour that I strongly recommend - Visiting Singapore from Canada for the first time and did this tour with my 14 year old son on Day 7 of our visit. Booked the tour because I was curious about Little India and there wasn’t much about it in my travel guide. This tour is hands-down on my Top 3 highlights for the entire trip. Rachel is very knowledgeable and entertaining. She took us to places we would have otherwise not been to and gave us a solid and very interesting overview of the Indian cultural heritage in Singapore. Having her guide us through the Hawkers and market was very valuable so we’d get a great sample of Indian foods from “A” stalls, and so was having her guide us through a Hindu temple. We left with an appreciation we wouldn’t have had doing this on our own. Strongly recommend her to anyone visiting Singapore wishing to learn more about this fascinating facet of Singaporean life.

Best tour ever ! - Rachel was prompt; extremely knowledgable about the various Singapore cultures; religion & history. The food tasted on the way was magnificent and I learnt about the Singapore not seen by most tourists such as the government sponsored housing. Amazing and excellent value - a must do tour.
