• Kenai Fjords National Park - More than half of Kenai Fjords National Park is enveloped by the vast Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot-thick ice block originating from the last Ice Age. The Harding Icefield extends in all directions, forming glaciers. Some of these glaciers stretch northwest into the rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula, while five others reach the sea along the rugged coast of the Gulf of Alaska.
• Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge - The Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge consists of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires, and reefs, renowned for its rich seabird population.
• Resurrection Bay - Sail through Resurrection Bay as the captain leads the way to Kenai Fjords National Park.
• Thumb Cove State Marine Park - Look out for seabirds, waterfalls, and hanging glaciers in Thumb Cove.
• Aialik Glacier - Explore one of the two magnificent tidewater glaciers, Aialik or Holgate. Aialik Glacier is encircled by steep cliffs, dense forests, and towering mountain peaks. Visitors might witness breathtaking calving events as ice chunks break off and crash into the ocean. Keep an eye out for harbor seals.
• Holgate Glacier - Explore one of the two magnificent tidewater glaciers, Aialik or Holgate. Similar to Aialik, Holgate Glacier is surrounded by steep cliffs, dense forests, and towering mountain peaks. Visitors might witness breathtaking calving events as ice chunks break off and crash into the ocean. Although rare, black bears have been spotted on the beaches in Holgate Arm.
