- Torre del Oro - Our meeting point for this experience is the watchtower built over 800 years ago to defend the access of ships to the city.
- Monumento a la Tolerancia - A very modern monument that represents the different cultures that have called to Seville home and that have been able to coexist for centuries.
- Puente de Isabel II (Puente de Triana) - The first fixed bridge of Seville, it was built to replace the former floating bridge that connected the city with Triana quarter. This is a very good example to the iron architecture of the 1800’s
- Mercado de Triana - The traditional market of the neighbourhood will allow us to speak about the importance of the products of the area and how they have contributed to Mediterranean cuisine.
- Centro Ceramica Triana - Here we will learn about the importance of the the crafts of the area and their contribution to the arts. Focusing on the ceramic we will also see how some traditional artisan workshops are making out of Triana a relevant location
- Callejon de la Inquisicion - Getting into the Castle of San Jorge we will explore the only defensive structure of the area and headquarters of the Inquisition. We’ll learn about this religious court and its importance in local history.
- Capilla de los Marineros - At this little church we’ll learn about one of the most important religious festivities, the Holy Week. Being the site of the most beloved brotherhoods of Triana the chapel is still a mandatory stop for everybody visiting this suburb.
- Iglesia de Santa Ana - The most important church of Triana and the first one built after the Christian conquest of 1248. A very good example of Mudéjar architecture style that was popularly know as the ‘Cathedral of Triana’

My own personal tour of Triana - I was in luck from the get-go as I was the only participant on the tour with Miguel.
90 minutes full of facts and insights from the old Port of America, to the makeshift bridge separating Triana from Seville, to the floodings, to the gypsy culture, Flamenco and shifts from being professional sailors to professional artists with a touch on Inquisition and the continued influence of the Church too (it was Holy Week after all) added in for more colour.
There was also some background into the cleansing-cum-revitalisation done in the 90s and the loss of ceramic factories to the current gentrified Triana which retains much of it cultural and historical beauty, which are sign-posted through tours like this.

Afternoon waking tour small group (turned out to be private) - Valentin is passionate about Seville and has a depth of historical knowledge. A good introduction to the Triana neighborhood and the river front in the historic area of Seville.

Triana …. - Clara is a very knowledgeable and passionate person. She made our tour so interesting, valuable and fun. This tour looked like a very smooth journey not like other tours with too much information and boring. We highly recommend Clara for such a discovery. Thank you.

A great guided tour with a great guide - We were lucky and were the only participants. Valentin was a great guide! Growing up in Triana, he knows an incredible amount about almost every building and every historical detail. Moreover, he is a super likable guy and time flew by. Tips for tapas and bakers we also got:-)

Great tour of Triana neighborhood - Interesting tour of Triana neighborhood and the area around the river. We had a tour at 6pm and it was the perfect time to watch the beautiful sunset along the river. Our guide Valentin was knowledgeable and engaging and would recommend him and the tour.

Excellent fun and informative walking tour - highly recommended - Really interesting and enjoyable walking tour. Our guide Miguel shared loads of interesting info about Seville past and present. We started on the river and talked about how Seville has evolved since the time of the Romans and its historical importance as Spain’s dominant port city.
Then we crossed over and explored Triana, its distinct evolution and its local history.
It was all fascinating and brought the area to life in a way that would not have been the case if we had just wandered by ourselves. Miguel was a super guide, with a great sense of humour and turn of phrase.
We highly recommend this tour to learn about Seville in general and Triana in particular.

Interesting - The bridge that connects to the Triana district. The steel structure of the bridge is interesting, even if in some points the stresses to which it is subjected are very noticeable. Beautiful spot for photos along the river and the Sevilla tower. In the neighborhood of Tirana there was a religious celebration.
