Learn why we use each of its ingredients, where they come from, as well as the history and evolution of this traditional dish of the Mediterranean cuisine.
Not only will our team introduce and teach you about this iconic dish, we will also prepare you a traditional and special sangria with the freshest ingredients of the area.
All this will happen while you enjoy the stunning views on our rooftop located in one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, the Cristina Building, former Hotel Cristina. From our rooftop you will enjoy views of the Cathedral of Seville, Torre del Oro, Guadalquivir river and Cartuja, among others.

Please note: This is not a cooking class but a showcooking. This means that this is a chef demonstration where customers do not participate in the cooking (due the recipe’s circumstances and safety).

Our meeting point is, located at Paseo de las Delicias, 1, Sevilla, in between the Restaurant "Uno de Delicias" and the souvenir shop. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. Please notice that if you are late we will not be able to let you up. We will not offer refunds if you are late.

Beautiful view - The location of the event is spectacular, beautiful views! Our chef Fabio was personal, knowledgeable and entertaining. Such a fun event!!!

Excellent demonstration and food! - My wife and I fully enjoyed the cooking show. Chef Antonio was really knowledgeable about the dish and its history answering questions as he cooked a fantastic Paella!

Authentic Paella with Great Views and Company - I participated in the Paella Showcooking Experience, and it was a highlight of my trip to Sevilla! Antonio is a fun and engaging host who is passionate about authentic Spanish cuisine. The paella and homemade sangria were both delicious, easily the best quality I tasted in Spain. The experience was also a fantastic way to meet other travelers from all around the world!! It was a perfect evening of amazing food and drinks, great views of the city, and learning more about Spanish culture.

Perfect paella - Fun way to experience how to prepare and cook a real paella. Whilst it was show cooking the Chef engaged everyone and it was very entertaining. The paella was perfect. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend - Chef Anthony was great! He answered everyone questions. He was engaging. Both of my kids loved the experience (16 and 18). Highly recommend.

Unique cooking experience - Evenif the event was in English and I had to translate for my husband it was an absolutely unique experience! Thanks to the Chef we will not forget it. We bought everything from pan to rice to Safran and now we are ready to crisp 😉

Great views, great sunset and good lesson - A very informative and useful session delivered with enthusiasm. Definitely worth doing and I learnt a lot.
I think there may have been an overbooking with an Irish Hen party, who were late, delayed events snd who also monopolised the wine. Despite this the event was fun, with good company and the sunset was stunning up on the roof. Gracias Antonio.

Bad choice…tourist trap - Very expensive for a piece of cheese, a few olives and really, really poor quality and taste paella. Despite many things about the experience, both fair and poor, the paella was not authentic or good, at all. We were a group of 10 and NO ONE liked the food, not one said it was even pretty good.

Big waste of time and money - Would absolutely NOT recommend this experience. No actual cooking or recipe provided. No one could see the dish being made from where we were seated. The paella was undercooked. The seafood was overcooked. The rooftop was lovely but the cook dropped off our dishes of paella and never checked back. That was the end of the experience. Big waste of time and money. I love paella and have been to two cooking classes where we cooked and received recipes. Big difference. The only thing nice about this was the view. The one glass of sangria was also just okay.
