Great tour near Sevilla - Great experience on a HOT day. Picked up in Seville and went outside of town about 20 minutes. Spent about 2 hrs walking around the ancient Roman ruins learning from a great very knowledgeable tour guide. After the tour had about 20-30 minutes to visit the little restaurant across the street to cool down, get some drinks and they had ice cream too. Then off to another short stop to see a Monastery. Spent about 30 minutes there and then back to Seville. It was great learning about Italica as it was the civilization way before the area of Sevilla.

It was a good tour of two interesting places. Probably would rather do it in a small group tour. - We met at our assigned time, but the bus in tour guide were 20 minutes late. But that was OK and she was very knowledgeable and personable and we had a great day. She split the group into English speakers and Spanish speakers. That was good until the Spanish-speaking tour guide went home and she had to do both. She did a great job! It was a good experience for a large bus tour. We prefer smaller tours, but our guide was really good!

Beware of motion sickness. - The roads are windy and the bus sways a lot so if you are prone to motion sickness it can be an issue. We left the tour at Alvia and returned via train. You are a bit rushed through Sagovia and Alvia. Leaving the tour allowed us to spend several hours in Alvia walking the walls.

Italica - Very well organized, interesting ruins and great guides. Tour moved along seamlessly, time to look at the ruins but not to waste time. A great four hours.

Worth the visit - This is def an interesting area to visit. The tour guides seemed disorganized, about 20 mins late, changed the meeting spot and then they weren't sure where our bus was. I pretty much speak only tourist English, so really appreciate English speaking guides being provided - our guide was not very proficient unfortunately, lots of words he couldn't translate and info about the area he was unsure of.

Not as advertised - Fascinating to see Italica and learn some of its history. Beware this tour is not as advertised. It is not 4hrs in Italica. You get about 2 hrs. The rest is travelling there and back plus a 30 minute stop off at a nearby monastery which is not advertised in this write up. There is another tour company who does advertise the monastery and Italica. However I specifically chose this tour because it didn't go to the monastery. I think there are 2 tour companies and they joined the tours together so we had to go to the monastery whether we liked it or not. Very poor. Tour guide wasn't the greatest either. He gave more information about Spain in general rather than the actual city of Italica
