• Caballerizas Reales de Cordoba - Before entering the Jewish Quarter, we’ll pass by the Royal Stables, built in 1570 by King Philip II, a great horse enthusiast, to create a purebred Spanish horse.
• Los Patios de San Basilio - We’ll walk around the San Basilio Quarter, adjacent to the Jewish Quarter, to admire the famous Patios or Courtyards of Cordoba, which attract thousands of visitors each year during the renowned courtyard competition. We’ll visit some of these stunning patios filled with flowers and pots hanging on their walls.
• Jewish Quarter (Juderia) - We’ll explore the largest old Jewish Quarter in Spain. You’ll stroll with your guide through iconic narrow streets like “Judios,” “Deanes,” or Tiberiades Square to learn about significant figures in Cordoba’s history, such as Maimonides.
• Sinagoga de Cordoba - We’ll visit the only original Jewish synagogue preserved in Andalusia. Admire the original Mudejar-style plasterwork in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. (Except on Mondays, due to the monument’s weekly closure)
• Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba - Discover the unique Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba (a World Heritage Site since 1984), the most significant monument in the entire Western Muslim world. The complete evolution of the Omeyan style in Spain can be seen in its various sections, along with the Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles of the Christian part.
