The Best Way to See São Miguel! - Vasco is an amazing guide and such a wealth of knowledge about São Miguel and the Azores. I had such a great time on my first custom tour with him that I ended up booking a second just to see more of the island! He answered every question I had and shared so much insight I never would have gotten on a bigger group tour. If you want to learn about the Azores from a local who knows it inside and out, Vasco is definitely the person to go with!

Excellent guide, wealth of information. - We enjoyed a half day, private tour with Vasco Silva as our guide. Reservation and pick up process was simple and convenient. Vasco tailored our tour to our interests, weather conditions, and the limited time we had available. We learned a lot about Sao Miguel and were left with a desire to return soon. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Vasco is a guide... - Vasco is an exceptional guide, he explained in detail the route, he was leaving us moments for us to be exploring on our own.
It was very friendly and nice, with lots of conversation.
We felt very comfortable with it and would repeat without a doubt.

great customized tours with Vasco - Our friend recommended Vasco as our tour guide and we could not have been happier. we worked with Vasco prior to our arrival in our customized itinerary and it worked out great. Our trip started with Vasco picking us up in his comfortable and clean van. He immediately put us at ease and provide some great suggestions for food and activity while in ports delgado.
The next day Basci picked us up for a full day in furnas , the botanical gardens and the tea factory with many stops in between. During this time Vasco was engaging knowledgeable and has a passion for the island which he conveyed to us. over the next two days casio coordinated a evening Azurean dinner at tony’s restaurant where food is cooled in the volcanic earth followed by a winder evening if attending the thermal pools under the stars. the next day we spent the day at Cedes and santa Barbara where we took so many great walks and saw majestic panoramic views. Vasco ensured that we saw everything and changed the itinerary due to the weather and even added in more walks around beautiful lakes. His tour beat our expectations and the vistas and views were spectacular.

Spectacular tour! - Our guide Flavio was warm, welcoming and most importantly, so informative about his home island. Every part of this paradise is stunningly beautiful, and Flavio took all the time we needed at each stop, explaining the cultural and geological history of these volcanic islands. I highly recommend this tour.

Private Custom Tour - Great driver, Philippe. He was professional and knew the area well. The car was comfortable and clean. We told him what sites we were interested in and he planned the rest. He kept us on time without rushing us. He picked a restaurant for lunch and made sure we were back well before on board time. We are a small family and this worked well for us as we got to see several sites during our short time there on this port stop. Would recommend for those who are interested in seeing several places and like a more tailored experience.

Vasco was great. He... - Vasco was great. He arranged itinerary per our request and did a great job of working as best as he could with the weather. He was personable and did a great job explaining history, education, politics, economy etc of the Azores. A very good ambassador for the Azores.
