Highlights
- Caldeira das Sete Cidades - At the starting point, we conduct a safety briefing and a demonstration of how to use the electric bicycle and all its functions, which takes about 15 minutes, and then distribute the equipment. Once we finish, we are ready to embark on a memorable adventure!

- Lagoa Azul - We will across over the bridge that divides the Blue and the Green lakes, and enjoy the lakeside view going to the Peninsula and the peaceful picnic area of Baía do Silencio (“Bay of Silence“).
- Lagoa de Santiago - Heading back to the bridge along easy dirt tracks, get ready for a long and steep ascent on the main road, along which you can stop at the viewpoints of Lagoa de Santiago (“Santiago Lagoon“).
- Miradouro do Cerrado das Freiras - Stop in the viewpoint Cerrado das Freiras (“Nuns Haven”).
- Vista do Rei Miradouro - Continue onwards and upwards, till finally reaching the Viewpoint of Vista do Rei (“Kings’ View“) for a panoramic view of the Blue and Green Lakes below as well as the now-abandoned “Monte Palace” hotel.
- Miradouro Da Lomba Do Vasco - Then, a more adventurous trail that takes us along along Cumeeira Pequena (“Small Summit Rim“) until we reaching the viewpoint.
- Igreja Paroquial das Sete Cidades - Passing the Lomba do Vasco Viewpoint we will finish the tour descending to the heart of the village of Sete Cidades, passing by the Church São Nicolau, leading us back to the start point.

A total blast at Sete Cidades - Our guide, Guilherme, was outstanding. The sites were incredible and he was very knowledgeable about the area and history. We were a group of six and he was very helpful with getting us set up, making it a safe trip, and guiding us throughout the day. It was a total blast and I highly recommend this trip, company, and guide!

Highly recommend e-bike tour! - Highlight of our Sao Miguel stay! Incredible views, loved being on bikes on the road and trails. Sofia and Diogo were awesome in orienting us to our bikes, answering our questions, and providing some insider information about the area. If you enjoy being active and outside (and are okay with being a little outside your comfort zone!), would highly recommend.
Bike pickup is right next to lake, by an open field in town-- that was our only hang up, finding the location to meet the staff.

Great Biking Experience for Seniors - Fun Activities' service, thoroughness, and experience were outstanding.
The Ebike team of young guys went out of their way to make sure we had a great activity.
Our guide, Diego, was experienced and knowledgeable ... he is an asset to the company. Being born and raised in Sao Miguel, he was able to give us more than an ebike ride. We learned a great deal about the island, the people, and the culture.
We ended up being the only people on the tour, so we got a personal experience.
Superb job by Diego!!!
We needed to make a decision on the second half of the ride due to the deteriorating weather conditions ... Diego left that decision to us ... we only did the extensive tour around the lakes and did not climb up to the viewpoints. Good call on our part because it did rain later with little visibility.
Ebikes were pedal assist only and not power assist too. Easy pedaling. Good for seniors (70 years old). Great views around the lake ... sunshine will make the difference in your experience

Great bike tour with spectacular views of the lakes. - Great bike tour with spectacular views of the crater lakes. Great track, especially on top of the ridge overlooking the lakes and the sea. Rapid descent. The wheels were great. The two tour guides Teresa and Guilherme were great! Friendly, motivating, prudent and always the whole group in view. Highly recommended!

Fun ride! - This was a great experience- the April weather didn’t cooperate so we missed the views and got very wet and muddy, but our guide led the small group confidently and we were still able to enjoy a challenging and rewarding ride. Thanks to the team for providing gloves (much appreciated!) and recommendations for a post-ride lunch.

A fun adventure in Sete Cidades! - We took the half day guided e-mtn bike tour in Sete Cidades with Tiago and it was amazing! The route was challenging (the dirt path had lots of ruts so we had to be very attentive) but the e-bikes made us feel like Tadej Pogacar :) Tiago was always checking on us to make sure we were ok and kept us aware of what was coming (2 more climbs!). Be sure to pack a rain jacket; our tour started in sunshine but ended in mist and heavy fog (don't worry about missing stuff! There's some abandoned structures on the route that become really creepy and cool in those conditions.) And if you go in the summer, you'll be treated to a hydrangea-packed final hour. You do need a moderate level of fitness and good bike handling skills due to the condition of the road and the steep inclines (but again, you'll zip up those with the turbo boost!). Tiago was a great guide with plenty of info to share. We had a great time and highly recommend this ride!

This is THE way to see Sete Cidades and the Lakes - This is THE way to see Sete Cidades! The eMTBs are perfect. 20kmh up the hills with little effort! A wonderful route and self guided pace. Even at a leisurely pace, the time given is more than enough for stops, breaks, and snacks. Tiago was friendly, and a great host. I cannot praise this tour enough.

E-bike mountain bike trail 22 km Sete Cidades - Fine e-bikes and a nice route for cycling. Went for the 22 km route because I don’t have much experience with mountain biking, but cycling in it. And this route was doable. Sometimes a bit more difficult but with the help of my husband I was fine. He may be an experienced mountain biker.
All in all had a lot of fun! Sometimes at a lot of speed down the mountain which was very cool. View unfortunately a little less at 600m altitude because of the fog but that really didn't spoil the fun! All in all very nice at the two lakes!
