A full day experience! - We had a great wine tour with Andy! He was so funny and the tour was overall great! We enjoyed the wineries but also loved checking out the fish and time market. Along the way, there were some beautiful views and we stopped at a great restaurant for lunch. We would definitely recommend the tour.

A feast for the senses - Recently enjoyed an absolutely fantastic wine tour with our wonderful guide, Rui. After a brief visit to the colorful Livramento market in Setubal and a scenic drive through the hilly Arrabida Natural Park along the coast, we took an excellent tour of the Quinta de Catralvos winemaking facility, followed by a winetasting. (Day drinking encouraged!) We stopped for lunch at a terrific restaurant in the nearby town of Azeitao (not included in the price), visited an artisanal painted tile studio to learn first-hand how the tiles are made, and wrapped up the full, but relaxing day with a second winetasting stop at Quinta de Alcube. I would strongly recommend both the tour itself, and the driver, Rui.

Best Tour! - This tour was one of the best I’ve ever been on. The views and wineries were amazing. We also stopped at a market and had the best espresso! Our tour guide Andy was absolutely the best (10 stars!) He was really personable and had a great sense of humour. He also took the best photos for us. I highly recommend this tour and if I had more time I’d do it again!

Maybe the best wine tour you’ll do! - Wine tour was excellent! Pedro made the experience very memorable. Authentic and enjoyable. Visited 2 wineries and the tile craft shop and lunch in the most amazing spot! Secret local only lookouts on the way and private parking for easy access to monuments. Don’t come if you are looking for pretentious tours. Fun folks only.

Beautiful views, serene wineries, amazing fish market - From the minute Andy picked us up he was a wealth of knowledge and facts about Portugal. We had a private tour so it was so enjoyable learning and listening to this country’s rich heritage. We toured Portugal and did a few wineries which were beautiful, the views of the countryside and climbing the mountains to see the water were breathtaking taking. Andy really was the key to such an enjoyable day. Ask for Andy and it will be an experience you will not forget and you will have made a friend in Portugal.

Recommend this wine tour - This was a Iovely way to spend a day. Our tour guide Rui was very friendly and engaging, and provided a lot of great information. His love for the area shined through. The wineries were very nice, and the market and tile factory were very interesting (and we all bought some beautiful tiles!). He also brought us to a delicious lunch spot. My friends and I definitely recommend this tour, and Rui as a tour guide!

Mostly forgettable wine with no vineyard experience - The tour was not that great. We spent most of the time at Bacalhoa never setting foot in the actual vineyard. We toured their storage facilities and art collections. It seemed like 20 minutes just standing in a dark cellar of casks listening to gregorian chanting. When we finally were seated for the wine tasting, the wines were basic, inexpensive and completely forgettable. Maybe even undrinkable…. I believed we were going on a customized tour for a serious wine collector. We visited their storage facilities and fish market first which was interesting. The lunch was good. We visited one other winery but again, never walked among the vines and never went inside. We were seated, drank better wine, thank goodness . Rui was very friendly and the other couple were great companions. They totally made the day. We did purchase a few bottles at the second winery but I wouldn’t say it was unique or memorable. The experience felt commercial.
