Perge served as Pamphylia’s capital. Our tour includes the Roman Baths, the Agora, Colonaded Street, Nympharium, and the stadium. Next, we head to the Aspendos Ancient Theatre.

This ancient theatre, exceptionally preserved and built in the 2nd century A.D., accommodates 15,000 spectators and continues to host festivals and music events.

After a lunch stopover at a nearby river restaurant, we move on to Side (pronounced Seeday). Considered one of Turkey’s finest classic ancient cities, Side was a principal port and the region’s largest slave market. Numerous buildings were erected in Side during Roman times, including a substantial theatre, Roman Baths, and the Temple of Apollo. Visiting a waterfall is subject to timing.

Great way to see unique sites around Antalya - Excellent tour of the historical sites around Antalya! It was nicely put together since each site had a unique aspect. The pick and transport was also good in an AC van with a small group. The entrance tickets being included was also nice so we didn't have to deal with it. Would be nice if the lunch also had a vegetarian entree but sufficient with the multiple sides to build a full meal.

A history lesson with humour - A last minute booking - 4pm the day before the trip. Great comms within the hour from tour outfit U Can travel via WhatsApp, and arrival updates for the morning pickup. We had Derya as guide and Mehmet as driver. Derya was superb bringing history to life with countless anecdotes about life in ancient times. He was extremely passionate and well versed in his subject with fantastic command of common and historical English. The tour wasn't rushed and it was clear that the other tours groups that quickly passed us by were getting a far inferior tour for their money. We enjoyed the included lunch. The waterfall is a tourist trap, but a great stop on a hot day. Top marks to Derya and U Can travel.

Ancient cities tour review - The ancient cities were well described and explained by the tour guide, who also would answer any questions asked. The guide was also very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed her work. The food served was very good, and the sites were interesting. The addition of free time before the area tour ended was also very good as it allowed ample opportunity for photos and exploration. The only complaint was that during transport, the tour guide had a microphone and speaker that was too loud for me (not horrible). However this is a minor issue that has no good solution for if it was not this loud then the guide couldn’t be heard. Overall, This was a very good tour. Note that it is hot, requires a lot of walking around, and semi-long (20-45 minutes) car rides. If you like history or are interested in this sort of stuff and can handle the environment, then you will like it.

Great and successful private tour! - We requested a private tour for six adults and a two-year-old child. We wanted to visit Side, Aspendos and the waterfalls with a German-speaking tour guide. Communication with the organizer went smoothly via WhatsApp. We quickly came to an agreement and made an appointment for pick-up directly at the hotel. The driver and tour guide were at the hotel on time at the agreed time and the tour could start straight away. Our tour guide spoke perfect German and was a very experienced guide. He was able to tell us a lot about the history, the people and the culture. He was very attentive to our group and planned the course of our tour perfectly, so we were able to avoid the crowds and look at everything in peace. The lunch was also very tasty and we were all very satisfied. All in all, we had a great day and we didn't miss anything. We were dropped off directly at the hotel in the afternoon and we were asked about again via WhatsApp. The service, driver, our tour guide, the tour and the food all deserve five stars. Thank you very much for this great day.

A dive into history! - The trip was perfect! Very precise to time at every stop and was awesome to dive into history from astonishing Perge to Aspendos magical site with a small stop to nature near the lovely Manavgat waterfall and moving to Side old town, which was amazing to see the care to preserve it and yet make it accessible for people to visit and learn about. Our guide Mehmet was just wonderful, the fascination and passion towards history was very reflective on the tour from start to finish which made it such a rich experience to dive into and absorb the sites stories with him! And cannot forget umit (i hope o had the name right!) our patient driver who challenged traffic to get us to all the stops on such a well organized schedule! Totally recommended!

Travel back in time! - Great trip - saw four amazing sites in one day which was outstanding. Our guide was excellent and offered a lot of explanation. Despite the volume of what we saw, we didn't feel rushed or that we missed anything. Definitely recommended!

Whole lot of ruins and lots of history - Ruins from AD 127 If you're into your history, then it's worth a look at the old Ancient city. It is pretty big and lots of information written regarding this place. It wasn't really my thing, but family wanted to go, so i went a long too.

Very Disappointed - Overall, we were very disappointed with this tour. Details on why below. Pros: -The tour guide was knowledgable -The stops at Perge and Aspendos were particularly interesting and impressive to see -Lunch was good Cons: -The stops at the Waterfall and the Side town were underwhelming, and the Waterfall in particular we'd say was unnecessary. It is pretty, sure, but it is not anything particularly impressive (the tour guide himself made a joke about this fact), and there's nothing to do besides take a picture in front of it and pick up a snack at cafe, etc. It seemed more like a waste of time than anything else - a way to make it seem like you're getting more out of the tour than you actually are. The town of Side was mostly a tourist trap with overpriced goods for sale and cafes, and you had to kind of go out of your way to see any ruins or sites of interest. -We went on this tour on in July, on a 94 degree (Fahrenheit) day. We were not offered any water (which was standard on all other tours we took during our stay in Turkey (note - none of those other tours were booked via Viator). Offering guests water (at least one bottle each) is a very inexpensive way to make them comfortable and to accommodate them, especially in the Summer months. Worse, was the bus we traveled in was uncomfortable - despite them "blasting" the AC it never really cooled off in the vehicle unless you were sitting in the first row (and even then - it wasn't great). This was somewhat manageable when the distance between sites was only 5-10 minutes, but considering the ride back to town was almost 2 hours long, you can imagine how uncomfortable and at times unbearable it was. We were sat in the third or fourth row of the bus, and I can't imagine how bad it was for the people all the way in the back since there were no AC vents that far back in the vehicle. We felt this was really unacceptable for a tour company operating in the Summer. These two basic needs for guests (water, cool-enough vehicle) were not met. -At one point, the bus had to make a hard stop to avoid hitting another vehicle, causing people in the bus to jerk forward and to be startled. We were surprised that neither the tour guide nor the driver made any attempt to make sure that the passengers were OK, or to apologize for the hard stop. They did not acknowledge it at all, despite passengers having screamed. This was our first time booking a tour on Viator and after this experience, we're not sure we will do so again. We do not feel that the tour was good value for money (this was the most expensive tour we took in Turkey - we went on tours half the price (again, not booked on Viator) which offered us multiple bottles of water, an umbrella to shield from the sun, a comfortable and properly cooled vehicle to travel in, and a knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide).
