The market has many shops that offer a wide range of items, including fresh seafood, fruits, traditional Korean snacks, and household goods. The market has a distinctive retro 1970-1980s Korean vibe, which cannot be found in Seoul.

The first floor serves as a souvenir shop, administrative office, and guest room. On the third floor, visitors can enjoy stunning views of North Korean mountains and housings and learn about North Korea.
