Great day trout of Ephesus, Turkey - A day trip to Ephesus to see the sites. The tour was great, highly recommend my guide Umut and the very capable driver Esref. While the temple of Artimas is basically rubble, Esref gave a really good walk through of how big the temple was when it existed. Then a tour through the town of Ephesus, has really good excavations with examples of both the Greek and Roman periods. a few other bits and bobs and back to Istanbul. Turkey private tours made it a really easy day with transportation at both ends. Great day and I recommend it.

One day Ephesus tour - We had a fantastic one day trip to Ephesus with Umut as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and catered our trip to my family’s interests which laid more in the Greek and Roman ruins than in the Biblical sites. We had a laid back and delicious lunch in Selcuk town eating kebab, kofte, and pide. We’re not big shoppers so he picked up on that and we skipped the rug and leather tours and went instead to the Ephesus museum in Selcuk which has outstanding artifacts from Ephesus including the original Artemis statues. Tailan (sp?) was our driver and also did a great job. Would highly recommend.

Perfect tour to Efesos - Ertunga, the guide, knows a lot of the places. He did a tour according to what we expected! I really recommend for who that wants small group and for one day.

Basilica of St. John Our guide Ozgur met us in our hotel lobby at 08:30, on the drive to Ephesus he helped us plan our Itinerary, simple things like drinking water, and a toilet stop on the way were appreciated. Ephesus is superb, we had a great time listening to Ozgur and asking him questions, his English was great, we leant a lot. Great Ephesus tour with Tour guide Umut - We had a great day tour with our guide, Umut. Before we even left the hotel, he explained the places we could visit and that the itinerary is up to us. He has been very helpful in making our choices. For example, when we bought tickets to Ephesus, he asked us which places we want to visit so he could suggest ways to save money. He ensures that our tour needs are taken cared of - whether it’s about the need to stop for breaks along the way, making syre we had water and drinks at the car, choosing a good local restaurant and stores where he himself would take his family. This also makes us feel that, in some way, he shows he cares for his clients. Thiugh it is iur first time in Turkey, Umut has made our experience so memorable and enjoyable such that we would want to visit again and also get him as our tour guide.
