• Ancient City of Ephesus - Founded by chance in pre-Greek times, this city gained prominence under Roman rule. Today, its remains are visible in all their glory and splendor. Many significant statues are housed in the nearby museum, which, though small, is quite interesting. Among these is the statue of Artemis, both a revered object of Ephesian worship and a source of conflict for St. Paul.
• Ephesus Terrace Houses - The Terrace Houses complex in Ephesus features luxurious residential villas situated on the northern slope of Bülbüldağı Hill, adjacent to Curetes Street and opposite the Temple of Hadrian. To date, two housing complexes, Eastern and Western, have been excavated. These were constructed following the Hippodamian plan, where roads intersect at right angles. Excavation of the Terrace Houses began in 1960, and the restoration is ongoing, offering something new to admire each year.

Your day will start by being picked up from your hotel or the airport. You have the option to add a domestic flight from Antalya to Izmir. Your tour will include: Ephesus’ famous museum with its Temple of Artemis and magnificent library. Following lunch your tour will continue by visiting St. John’s Gravesite and the Virgin Mary’s House. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
