Great Host and good trip - The best part of this tour is Mehmet , our host. He is a teacher as well I believe, so sorted, so warm and spoke only when it’s required, no overload of info. The day was damn hot and he walked with us to every single place/spot. anybody thinking of visiting Turkey in July, pls think again. Never requested for a review or anything else for that matter. Very professional. It’s a great historical tour, Ephesus is great, house of Mary Yes. I didn’t find anything interesting in temple of Artemis or syringe village. But you need to spend a day.

Wonderful experience in Ephesus - Mel (tour guide) and Haci (driver) took good care of me. They were courteous and knowledgeable. The pick up was on time and the car was comfortable, clean, and with air conditiones. Haci did not speak english but he used a Google translator which works very well! Mel explained in detail all the sites we visited. It was great also to beat the large groups! While I was not interested on purchase the beautiful leather jackets and (expensive) carpets, I enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, there was a bad accident and we were unable to visit the last town where I was told have beautiful souvenirs. There was no other option to get souvenirs since I did not bought anything at the archeological sites. That part was not good :(. I recommend you get something on those expensive stores at the sites (remember to bargain), so you will have something to take home, in case something happen and you can not go to the small town. For the tour operator, I also recomend having a plan B, te help visitors get some souvenirs.

It felt like I travelled back in time. - Our guide was wonderful. He was very kind and informative. Unlike others, he does not try to lure you into tourist trap places where you’ll be paying more. It feels like he was family, showing us around. The best part of the trip was the House of Virgin Mary tour. I am a Catholic, so being there gave me a really profound feeling. Make sure to bring a small bottle for the holy water and a pen and paper for writing your prayers. A lot of people (including us) did not know this so most have written on napkins. But our guide was lovely and gave us empty water bottles for the holy water and pen and papers for the prayer wall. He also arranged for us to go there early as he said the queue could go very long. When we got there at 08:00 we were the first ones to arrive, so we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Another highlight of the tour was the Ephesus ancient city tour. It feels amazing to be in the place where you only see in postcards and television. It definitely did not disappoint. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a detailed tour. Make sure to bring non slip shoes as the marble on some of the pathways can be slippery. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour and thank you very much to Mehmet for being an amazing guide.

Good logistic - Very interesting cultural experience. We were only seven persons and the site not too crowded, bc there was only one cruise ship coming. The guide was really informative and funny, and gave long answers to my questions relevant to biblical times. Driver was trustworthy and took good care of us. Modern culture (tourism) was not neglected, even if we did not want to buy much carpets and so. :) Overall a good and memorable experience

Bang for your buck! - Worth every penny. Was a full day tour. We did so many things. I didn't realize how big Ephesus was! I'm glad we went to the house of the virgin Mary. I got to light a few candles for some friends going through a hard time even though I don't consider myself religious.

Worth every penny - This trip was great fun. The itinerary was well planned and our tour guide Nizam was considerate of all the group, giving us plenty of time for breaks and to take pictures. He does a great job of entertaining and explaining the beautiful sights and history of the area. There are some stops where you can shop, there are a lot of poor quality products for tourists, but this tour only showed us the best and there was no pressure to buy (in Türkiye you can negotiate the price and if you're not interested just say so). You also see how some things are made and get an insight into the local traditional crafts. Lunch was in a relaxed setting rather than a busy restaurant and the food was great.

Great tour, informed guide, recommend - Very very knowledgeable guide which made such a difference. The trip was varied and even the visit to the carpet school was a very pleasant surprise. The guide could try and speak a little slower for those people who English is their second language.
