- Ancient City of Ephesus - Ephesus stands as a remarkable testament to the cultural traditions of the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial, and early Christian eras. It holds significant importance for Christianity, being one of the seven Churches of Revelation. The Apostle Paul likely spent two and a half years in Ephesus during his third missionary journey. In two hours, visitors will explore the city by walking along the marble streets, guided by our English-speaking tour guide. The tour includes visits to the Odeon, State Agora, the Prytaneion, the Memmius Monument, the Domitian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, the Hadrian Temple, and the Latrines. Visits to the private houses (Terrace Houses) are optional for an additional 45 ₺ per person, and the guide should be informed in advance. After the Terrace Houses, the exploration continues with the Celsus Library, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theater, and Arcadiane. A delightful lunch will be served at a charming local restaurant.
- Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - The House of the Virgin Mary is believed to be where Mary spent her final days. It is thought she may have arrived in the area with Saint John. Officially declared a shrine of the Roman Catholic Church in 1986, it has since become a popular pilgrimage site. Pope Paul VI visited the shrine in 1967. The visit to the House (church) takes about 1 hour, followed by a 10-minute drive to Ephesus.
- The Temple of Artemis - After lunch, the tour will proceed to the Temple of Artemis, one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.’ Here, there will be an excellent opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the Church of St. John and the Mosque of İsa Bey.
