- Kerid Crater - You will discover the one of our most beautiful volcanic craters with a lake hidden inside, your guide will explain how the volcano was made and why it’s so unique to find. the views from the top rim are delightful, it can be accessed by all.
- Fridheimar - On your journey through Icelands landscapes you will stop at the famous fridheimar green houses to see how we farm our fruit and veg with our geothermal energy, and of course give the fresh tomatoes soup a try, if we can stop here we will take you to our neighbouring farm to try the mushroom soup.
- Geysir - You will stop to marvel and explore the the shooting Geysir of Strokkur. The hot spring erupts out of the ground every 4-8 minutes with boiling water, the whole area is saturated in small bubbling springs to explore.
- Gullfoss Waterfall - This waterfall is one of the grandest in Iceland, it holds a heart warming story of the locals that battled to keep its existence. There are many view points that sound this magnificent waterfall for you to enjoy.
- Laugarvatn - Here at the geothermal lakes you can see how our traditional rye bread is made, if you are lucky and we time it right ,you can try the freshly baked geothermal bread from the sands of the lake.

Thingvellir National Park - The national park is on set on the edge of the tectonic plates, as the rift valley collapses into its self the massive walls show the scale of the mid-atlantic ridge splitting Iceland in two.
you will have time to explore the site along with seeing some heritage waterfalls, where the first parliament in history was formed giving its national park status.

Don’t miss a tour with Thomas - The tour with Thomas was amazing! Not only was he very knowledgeable in geology and history, but he was informative about everything we saw during our 9 hour Golden Circle Tour. His van is comfortable and he had water and snacks to keep everyone comfortable. We couldn’t have been in better hands!

Fascinating tours with Expert Guide - The tour of the Golden Circle was wonderful and full of amazing sights and fascinating information. Thomas has great expertise in geology and geothermal energy. He knew the best routes and timing for popular tourist spots and took us to several out-of-the-way places that we would never have known. We took a second tour of the volcanic eruption sites that was safe and awe-inspiring. Thomas was friendly and professional. He checked on our interests and our activity levels to customize the tours. The EV van is extremely comfortable and a great way to see Iceland.

Ever again - We have been "flooded" with informations, starting from technical aspects like washing clothes in the old times with natural hot water via geological structures and tomato planting to the hart of the Icelandic parliamentary system. And not to forget the photo and cultural stops at places we would never find ourselves (or we never thought about) and all the useful information given to us. Thomas knew his way through Iceland and the culture, which was amazing since he is British...

Fantastic tour, highly recommend! - We were traveling to Iceland on a cruise and decided to stay in Rejkjavik for a few days post cruise. We opted for the private Golden Circle day tour with Thomas and this was by far the best tour we took, even better than the cruise shore excursions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see outside of the city. We saw many sights and had a great time with Thomas. He is very professional, knowledgeable, down to earth and fun to be with. I had some communication with him prior to arriving and he worked our group of 4 to find the right tour for us. He was at the hotel to pick us up promptly at the agreed upon time and always responded promptly to my messages. The private tour was definitely worth the money, the car was very comfortable, with water and snacks included. I would definitely use this tour company if I am ever back in the area!

Excellent Golden Circle Tour - Our guide Thomas provided us with an excellent Golden Circle tour. We highly recommend him to anyone wanting to do this tour.
Thomas was kind, patient, and of very good humor throughout our very long day of touring. He also was very knowledgeable, so we learned a lot about the amazing sites we visited. We also learned about how the Icelandic people have adapted to this pretty harsh environment

Great private Golden Circle experience - Thomas shared his extensive knowledge of the various sites and took us to some out of the way places making this an extremely memorable experience. We highly recommend Thomas and would book another tour if we return.

Two Unforgettable Tours with EV Travel - So glad I booked with EV Travel! We did two consecutive day tours - the Golden Circle and the Silver Circle - and this combination provided the perfect balance of incredible scenery and historic perspective. With multiple generations in our group (ages 10 to 74), the exceptional service and flexibility provided during both tours made our first visit to Iceland so memorable. Thomas and Thomas are both terrific guides! Friendly, knowledgeable, and so very accommodating, they adjusted the pace perfectly to suit our needs. Throughout both tours, they were very mindful of our comfort and provided special touches like blankets, water and snacks. We hope to return soon to do the South Coast Adventure tour!

A whirlwind whizz around the Golden Circle highlights - Thomas was a fantastic guide, he enabled us to see so many of Iceland's natural wonders in our limited time in the country. His communication from the get go was excellent, and he picked us up from the airport with no fuss. Great to hear his experiences of living in Iceland, and we would definitely recommend a tour with him (EV Travel) for anyone visiting the country. From the craters, to the geysir, the waterfalls and the national park, we enjoyed it all with expert guidance from Thomas and his super jeep.

Amazing Golden Circle tour - The landscapes were breathtaking and we could take very many stunning pics! The tour was well organized and well-rounded, it allowed us to have an insight of some of the beauties of Iceland. Our driver spoke perfect English, was kind and prepared and told us many interesting pieces of information both about the country and its nature. The van was spacious and comfortable, plus there were fresh water and snacks for us to enjoy, as well as blankets to keep us warm in case it got chilly in the back of the van. When we come back to Iceland, we will definitely contact EV Travel to plan some more day trips and discover more of this wonderful country.

EV Travel is a great company with reasonable prices and wonderful people who know Iceland! - We thoroughly enjoyed our full day Golden Circle Tour with EV tours. Our driver was Dan, who was an efficient driver and quite congenial, but mostly got us from one place to the next without issue. It was nice that he is from the US and is now an Icelander. We started at the Geothermal Plant in a driving rain with strong winds and he did the best to get us from the comfort of our vehicle to the interior of the plant.
The next stop was the Kerið crater, where the wind continued to blow and the rain (thankfully) died down somewhat. Again, Dan did a nice job of getting us there and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around. We continued our tour and were brought to the Tomato Farm and ate at the wine bar there (as opposed to the regular restaurant) as Thomas Warner, who arranged our tour, said they would be able to accommodate our dietary needs more easily. He was not mistaken! We had huge salads for our lunch and gorgeous strawberries for dessert! It was nice of him to think about what our needs were. (Also, in the car, we had fruit instead of chocolates (again due to dietary needs.))
We continued along to the Geysir Hot springs, Gullfoss Waterfall, and concluded at the National Park. It was a full day and a long day, but at no time did Dan rush us along or impose his agenda on to us. He was gracious and courteous and quite accommodating.
I think the value of this tour is fantastic and the sites (and sights) themselves were mind-bogglingly beautiful and fascinating! EV tours is a wonderful company. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is that Dan was more of a driver than a guide. But still, he did that job extremely well!
