Golden Circle Private Tour - Bjarni was a fantastic host. We booked a Golden Circle tour but got a Golden Circle +++. While driving he would tell old Icelandic folk tales from when he was growing up in addition to describing the sites and the history. Many more stops than the typical Golden Circle tour. If you have the chance to book with Bjarni, do it.

A Guide that Goes the Extra Mile - We can't afford to take private tours everywhere we go, but this is one where we figured it would likely be the only time we would ever be in Iceland, so we splurged - and glad we did. It took a bit of a walk and a phone call, but we found our guide, Bjarni, at the port. He had a very clean and comfortable mini bus and spoke good English. He was a great storyteller of the folklores of Iceland. He explained himself well, gave us more of a back door tour, showing us all the best spots for photos, led us to the bathrooms, and a great little farm lunch spot that made their own ice cream. There was even a window to see the cows feeding. We saw a crater with a lake, lots of lava mountains, a waterfall, a geyser and so much more over the course of six hours or so. We do love our private tours! One thing that sets this tour apart from the rest is that Bjarni did not just drop us off and point in a direction for us to head. He actually walked with us, pointed out things we would have missed on our own and made sure we had the best angles for photos. I find this to be rare and much appreciated, it made all the difference. He seems as if he truly loves his country and his job!

Beautiful Privat Golden Circle Tour - We had booked the privat Golden Circle Tour. Our guide was Bjarni. It is highly recommended. A very nice person provided us with a lot of information. The tour itself was impressive and we would do it again. And he also paid great attention to our needs, what else we wanted to see. It was really very nice. He also gave us space and time when we wanted to eat something. It was really a very beautiful tour.

Would recommend for those that want a first hand experience of Iceland. - We learned so much about Iceland on this tour from the geography, the history, to the folklore. Our guide was amazing with information and be patient when we wanted to spend a little extra time at the sites.

The Guide Matters - Bjarni is a Pro! - Our guide, Bjarni, also the owner of the Company, was early for our pick up in Reyjkavilk and as we drove out of town, shared a lot of history and explaining what we would see during the tour and offering us opportunities to customize our experience. He's very knowledgeable and experienced and his advice was key in tailoring our day with him. In addition to seeing all the "must sees", we went several places that the larger tours don't go and as a result, we often were either the only people where we stopped. Bjarni, explained each location and what we were seeing in an informative and entertaining way, knowing when to talk and when to let the incredible silence of this amazing natural setting be the "soundtrack".
