- Geysir - We also visit the geothermal active valley Haukadalur where among others, the hot spring geysers Geysir and Strokkur are located. Take a walk around the area and catch an eruption or two. Here you can gab a coffee or a light snack if you´re hungry and use the restroom facilities before we carry on.
- Gullfoss Waterfall - The most iconic and beloved waterfall in Iceland with Hvítá river rushing down its staircase resembling on of the most powerful waterfalls in Europe. Gullfoss is picture perfect all in seasons.
- Fridheimar - From there we go for lunch at the famous Greenhouse Tomato farm, where you will be served lunch – included in your tour – choose between their world-famous tomato soup, ravioli pasta or grilled tortilla pizza as well as eat all you want of the best and most delicious homemade bread you might ever have. You can also buy some local deserts and drinks - not to mention the tastiest Bloody Mary’s. Chances are we might run into and pet the Icelandic horse on our way out.

Worth every second and penny - This was an incredible experience. The views were amazing. Grétar was extremely knowledgeable about the history of our stops and the surrounding areas as we drove. He was not only a great guide, but very personable and fun to be around. Anyone who has gone on a guided tour knows a guide can make or break the trip. Grétar is definitely in the elite category. We had an incredible time and will be recommending this to anyone who visits.

My Favorite Excursion! - This was by far my favorite excursion on my 2 week northern European vacation. Grétar was such a wonderful tour guide, he shared a lot of great info with us, took photos, and allowed us time to take in all the beauty at each location we visited. I was a bit bummed my mom missed this last excursion of our trip due to not feeling well, but I learned so much from Grétar, that I was able to take her on a condensed version the next day while we had a rental car. I also had the pleasure of meeting another nice mother/daughter traveling together, they were great to share this experience with. I 10 out 10 recommend Grétar with Adventure Vikings and hope to return in the future to do another tour with them. It was nice being with a small group after being stuffed in coaches with 40+ people on all other tours, it really allowed us a much more enjoyable experience with time to explore.

Snorkeling AND The Golden Circle - What a combo! - This was an amazing day! We had a great morning at the Silfra fissure, visited amazing waterfalls and Geysers.
Silfra snorkeling is magical. The water is so very clear. We felt very safe while snorkeling. They are very professional and really know what they are doing. It really wasn't too cold. We had on so many layers.
The geyser and waterfalls were gorgeous. Then we topped it off with an amazing lunch at the Friðheimar Tomato Farm. It was delicious! They showed us how it all works and it was quite an operation. Very modern and tech savvy. There were also a few Icelandic Horses there and we got a few pics of them as well.
The guides were wonderful. And they took photos of us and then shared them for free. It was so great to not have to worry about photographing things and just enjoy the experience. I recommend them 1000%
