Fridheimar - After having lunch (not included) at this tomato farm, we will gain an insight into the processes of greenhouse horticulture, with a short and informative talk on the subject.
Also, Friðheimar breeds Icelandic horses, so we will be able to see and pet a couple of them. - Kerid Crater - It is one of several crater lakes in the area, known as Iceland’s Western Volcanic Zone, which includes the Reykjanes peninsula and the Langjökull Glacier, created as the land moved over a localized hotspot, but it is the one that has the most visually recognizable caldera still intact.

When in Reykjavík... - Nicely coordinated pick up and drop off. Interesting tour, well managed and timed by Leroy who provided an excellent commentary and useful information all along.

Memorable and perfect size! - Great experience. This is a perfect size group in a small van to see the golden circle. Our tour guide, Roger was excellent at explaining things. It was also a safe driver. He was very conscientious about picking us up so we didn’t have to walk as far as I noticed some of the other tours had to walk. Of course the waterfall was spectacular and much larger than it looks in photos. Everything was well timed, including the ice cream. Food is not included, but that is of course normal. At the tomato farm. I would probably not order the lettuce salad as it was too much. The seafood skewer was a great value. Again I would recommend the small tour over a large one.

A great day out with a teenager - Leroy was a warm, friendly and knowledgeable guide. A lovely group of people and a fantastic trip. I was worried about the length of the tour but the pace was gentle and the scenery awesome. Each stop got better. An amazing day thank you

Must see Golden Circle. - Bjorn was an excellent guide. He told us many stories and history about Icelandic areas. The falls, Geysir, volcanic crater were breathtaking. We also visited an ice cream shop and a tomato farm where we had delicious ravioli in fresh tomato sauce and got to see Icelandic cows and horses. Trip was fun and entertaining. We were picked up from our hotel promptly.

Leroy made this experience unforgettable - While we enjoyed beautiful summer weather, it was our driver-guide Leroy which made the experience unforgettable.
His narration was precise, varied and well-time, a superb mix between history, geology, biology and social insights.

Great “taste” of the popular attractions - I have a short stay in Reykjavik and this tour gave me a great taste of the natural beauty of Iceland without stressing about driving or admissions to popular attractions.

Great Trip - We had an excellent tour . The stops were beautiful and the highlight for us lunch at the tomato greenhouse.
David our driver was full of intresting facts and very funny.

Exceeded our Expectations - Best Guide Ever! - Eastwest packed a ton of value for the price in this full day trip! Their comprehensive itinerary included many of the key sites in Iceland – waterfalls, hot springs, homemade ice cream, and more. Lunch at the tomato farm is a must-do. The restaurant owners are very creative in their food and drink recipes. We purchased the tomato soup, various breads, and the tomato cheesecake. Everything was outstanding!
We take a lot of tours on our vacations, and Baldvin D was by far THE best guide we’ve ever had. He was very professional and seemed to enjoy his job. He shared interesting stories about Iceland, was very patient when guests were slightly tardy in returning to the shuttle, offered local to-do and restaurant recommendations, drove safely, and ensured everyone was on board before leaving each stop.
Baldvin provided super clear instructions at each stop about what to do, where to find the shuttle at what time, how to avoid crowds, and more. He was super flexible at the end of the trip and offered to drop people off at restaurants or other parts of town for their convenience instead of their hotels if requested.
Eastwest did a fantastic job of communication prior to the trip. They sent detailed instructions on where to meet (including a link to a map), guide’s name, license plate of the shuttle, and a phone number in case we needed to reach the tour company.
We toured with 3 difference companies during our stay in Reykjavik and Eastwest is by far our favorite. You won’t be disappointed if you book a trip with this group.
