excellent 3-day tour fun filled tour exceeds our expectations - The tour guide/ driver is excellent - despite the arrangement made by the travel agency was not optimal, he is able to chime in a couple of interesting sites to fill the gaps and made it fun for the group. It is a must do for the southern part of Iceland - highly recommend it.

Such a cool adventure! - This was such a cool experience! I was traveling by myself and figured it would be a lot safer to be with a group, and this tour had all the things I wanted to do. The hotel/motel rooms were hit or miss, with one being pretty meh, but another being really nice. I loved that the hotels had common areas where travelers could hang out together. I made friends with a couple of my fellow solo travelers and we had a lovely time. I did this tour in early November but somehow barely got rained on. The glacier hike was so cool and I can now say I have climbed a glacier! The ice cave had filled with water so we couldn’t go very far but it was still beautiful. Our tour guide was really nice, one thing I think he could have done better was had everyone introduce themselves or some kind of activity to help us get to know each other at the beginning. I didn’t end up talking with a lot of the people on the tour until the last night because we didn’t really have an icebreaker. So that’s my only feedback for making it better. It was absolutely incredible and I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful 3 day tour with our tour guide Bran - We were well taken care of by our guide Bran. He has good driving technique and clearly explained the itinerary, the time to next spot, toilet break etc. The tour minibus is very comfortable. He brought as to more attraction than the schedule! The accommodations are nice and sleeping time is adequate. The most stunning spot is the glacier hike, just like walking on another planet as in the movie interstellar. The waterfall is amazing, better bring your own raincoat or you can rent one on the site. I highly recommend this tour if you’re going to explore the southern part of Iceland in 3 days.

Great guide, great experience - We had a great time on our tour. Iceland's nature is amazing and our guide Árni enhanced the experience by adding historical and fun facts about the country. We felt safe and cared for throughout the whole experience and could concentrate on fully enjoying the nature.

It was a great tour. - It was a really great tour. The guide was from another country, but I really loved Iceland and I could feel how they were trying to make the most of it in a short period of three days and two nights. The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments...

Wonderful Guide - The second part of my tour had a different guide , Kubar. This guide was so much better. He told us the itinerary and most important was so considerate n helpful to us. Only suggestion I hv for him is that he should be more lively in his presentation and then he will b perfext

Great Guides, Cheap Accommodations - First, our host, Hinrik, was amazing. He had lots of knowledge, humor, and a great playlist. Really loved spending three days learning from him. Second, we also had the most knowledgeable and friendly guides for the Ice Cave tour, Oni, and the Glacier Hike, Adam. Really couldn't have asked for a better group of guides to show us around. I deducted one star because the accommodations, which are all owned by the tour company, were very cheap given the price we paid. Everything was clean and we felt safe, but the rooms were small with the bed pushed against the wall, and we were only given one towel. At one of the "hotels" there weren't any hairdryers available. Breakfast was available, but minimal. I ended up buying food at the grocery store during our stops. Also the van ran well, but it was old and showed it's age compared to the Artic Adventures busses we came across -- at least from the outside. Final thoughts, I strongly recommend doing a volcano tour as your first activity since so much of the island is driven by the rhythm of the volcanoes. And, book a day at the end of your vacation to relax at the hot springs. Overall, I would book with Troll.is again but pack differently knowing what I know now.
