Fantastic winter tour around Iceland - This was the best tour for a first timer to Iceland! They take you everywhere you read about and if you get lucky like we did you get fantastic weather and everything looks beautiful. The ice cave was amazing and we even got a chance to see super rare polar stratospheric clouds against a super cool glacier. We also got to meet an Icelandic horse which was a bonus! Our guide Rocky was the best guide you could ask for. He told us folklore, fun anecdotes, and great information on the places we visited. Also his music playlist was on point at every stop. He was also great about northern light searching. We were 5 min from the hotel and he could’ve kept driving so he could rest but instead we stopped in a field for a few minutes so we could get amazing photos with minimal light pollution. Can’t recommend enough!

Great adventure & guide - This was a great trip and would really recommend it. Troll tours don't seem to target one nationality and it was great to be part of mixed group of 14 people. Out guide Heidran was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland. She also had a knack of getting us to places before the larger tour groups descended. Heidran was also great fun and friendly too. The hotels were all really good too, and saw the Northern Lights as they were in remote places with limited light pollution too.

Beautiful Winter tour in Iceland. - Wow ! What a wonderful experience. We travelled for 3 full days through Southern Iceland's wintery landscape. The limited daylight was no problem and the beautiful low sunlight only enhanced all of the landscapes. Frozen waterfalls, icebergs on black sand and in the Jokulsarlon lagoon, fresh snow and sitings of the Aurora at night, it was all we could wish for ! We have to give full credit to our intrepid guide Elli for his incredible driving skills in the winter conditions. He was brilliant. It was great to be driven around with the freedom to rest and gaze out at the beautiful landscapes. Elli is passionate about Iceland especially in the winter. The 2 hotels we stayed in were great. Both were cosy and comfortable and the breakfasts were substantial and delicious. I highly recommend this Troll Expeditions tour.

Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like Like - The guide Rocky is super! Recommended 🥳🥳 Other than that, the trip was good 👍🏾 and worth the money. The blue ice cave is very blue 💙💙. However, if you don't like exercise or don't have a habit of exercising, you may find it a little hard to stay energized, as walking on a glacier can drain some energy. Anyway, I love this trip!!! 🥰 It's super for me ~~~~ Hope I get a chance to see Rocky again!!

Unforgettable Iceland Adventure with Amazing Tour Guide! - I had the pleasure of traveling to Iceland from late December to early January 2025, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The scenery was absolutely stunning – from the icy landscapes to the spectacular views of glaciers, waterfalls, and volcanic terrain. There’s so much to see and do, and even though time was short, we managed to pack in so many incredible experiences! A huge shoutout to Iskren, our tour guide, who made the trip even more special. He was not only knowledgeable and friendly but went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of every moment. From giving us great tips on how to optimize our time, to being extremely helpful and accommodating, Iskren truly made the difference. He was so dedicated that, even on our last day when we had a long drive back to Reykjavik, he made a detour to ensure we had the chance to see the Northern Lights. It wasn’t even part of the plan, but Iskren made sure we each got an unforgettable photo of this magical experience. I would absolutely come back to Iceland, and I’d love to have Iskren as my tour guide again. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Iceland in a truly personal and immersive way!
