Road Trip & Camping
Muscat - Embark on a road trip from Muscat to Jebel Shams, with a brief stop in Al Hamra to purchase supplies for camping.
Jebel Shams - Set up camp, enjoy the sunset, prepare dinner, engage in cultural talks and group discussions about personal thoughts and experiences, stargaze, and finally, sleep early to prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Hiking
Jebel Shams - Wake up early, have breakfast, and start hiking at high altitudes. The sedimentary rocks and stunning geological views distinguish the summit of Jebel Shams, one of the highest peaks in the Sultanate of Oman.
The hike covers a 24 km round trip to the summit and back to the starting point, with breaks to rest and hydrate along the way.
Muscat - Return to the starting point and drive back to Muscat.
