Private half day Muscat tour - Hawwa was an excellent tour guide who spoke really good English and looked after us the whole way. The Grand Mosque was very impressive and the souk and palace well worth seeing.

Excellent Tour - We really enjoyed our Tour with our guide Zaher! He gave us hints for the dress code prior to departure, Zaher war extremely polite, he speaks very good English and even a litten German which was very helpful. He explained the Grand Mosk in detail including islamic habits and religion. He offered lokal coffee and dates, showed us around at the fish market and the royal castle and gave some time to spent at the Bazar. Even after the tour he helped with recommendations. We can recommend the tour operator Oman Tours (they contacted us in advance) in general and Zaher especially for an excellent experience.

Unforgettable Tour of Muscat with the Best Guide! - Only had a few hours to do a city tour as I arrived in Oman later than expected. Lucky for me I got who I am sure is the best guide in the city. It was clear Ziad knew the city like the back of his hand! I can’t believe we saw so much in only 4 hours! Covers main sights - Beautiful city. Good tour as it covers the main sights. Knocked off a star as 1. Our tour guide Mohammed was on his phone the whole time (multiple calls). Did not bother to tell us about the city as we drove by 2. Car has mechanical issues and he had to top up coolant every time we stopped When he was not on his phone, Mohamed explained well (eg inside the Opera House and inside the Grand Mosque)
