A Memorable Journey at Mount Rainier Thanks to Susan’s Exceptional Guidance - I had an incredible experience visiting Mount Rainier, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Susan. She was exceptionally attentive and patient, making sure that every member of the group felt comfortable and well taken care of. Susan’s knowledge and passion for the area really enhanced our trip, allowing us to fully appreciate the stunning beauty of Mount Rainier. It was a truly enjoyable and memorable journey, and I highly recommend her as a guide.

Beautiful day! - This was a great tour of Mt Rainier! There was a short (~2 mile out and back) hike on paved and dirt trails. It was not too bad, but it is very steep. Susan had trekking poles for us to use and bottled water too. There was a picnic (at the top of the hike) and Susan carried all our picnic food! She was environmentally conscious (used reusable plates and silverware). She also had snacks (trail mix, etc.) and scones. The views were gorgeous. Then we drove to several waterfalls and had a small (~0.5 mile and flat) hike through the woods. Susan was so knowledgeable about the park facts, rock formations, nature, etc. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to see Mt Rainier and learn about it.

Very recommended great experience - 10/10 experience. Our tour guide Tagd was so nice and informative he was a rockstar at his job and was very patient and nice. Climbing up the mountain was a humbling experience but he was very motivational and upbeat. We even got closer to some of the people in our group which was nice as well and laughed the whole way to the mountain. Mt. Rainer and Paradise is gorgeous!

Good Hike Day - We had the tour last Wednesday 7/31/24 with our tour guide named Tig, like the tiger without the ER. We had a wonderful time seeing Mt. Rainier with good stops to look at other beautiful scenic spots along the way. I liked the view of Mount Rainier in the Reflection Lakes the most. We saw the twin trees in the forest, with Douglas Fir on one side of the trunk and Red Cedar on the other side. I also like the view of the falls, I forgot the name of the falls. I recommend that you take the tour, but be ready it's a little bit tough. You should have the energy to do the hike.

An Experience (not just a drive-thru) - If you want to experience Mt. Rainier (not just see it) this is the tour for you! From Longmire entrance to Skyline Trail, I’d venture to say we saw all there was to see on the south face of the mountain. From our first stop learning about the primary types of vegetation to close up views of several waterfalls as well as the river to the hike up to Skyline from the visitor center, not a minute was wasted. Susan is both experienced and knowledgeable and she clearly loves the mountain. Like an Everymom, she gave us breaks, brought snacks & water & trekking poles, and toted lunch for all 10 of us up the morning like a Sherpa! The most strenuous part of the tour is hiking up about a half mile to a lunch spot, but take your time and take breaks… you can do it if you can climb 2-3 flights of stairs without stopping. This is an ALL-DAY tour with lunch and snacks included. Pickup to park is about 2 hours each way in a very comfortable van. I’d suggest summer tourists dress like you would in Seattle…I wore long pants and long sleeves instead of shorts, and I was a bit warm. You will LOVE this tour and Susan as a first-class guide and operator and you will feel as if you really truly experienced what Mt. Rainier has to offer!

Best way to experience Mt. Rainier! - This was an amazing day! We had a great tour guide named Susan, she was so sweet and energetic! She took us to the most breathtaking spots to see all different views of Mt. Rainier. The reflection lake was definitely one of my favorite parts!

Fabulous but strenuous tour - This is a great tour but definitely more strenuous than it states in the description. Ideally you should be moderately fit and have some stamina. The hikes, especially up the mountain are incredibly steep.

Hiking at Mount Rainier - Fantastic location, lots of beautiful scenery and one of the better national parks I have been to. Guide Susan was knowledgeable and provided an excellent lunch. The tour states only 2 miles of walking but be aware that due to the elevation this was a good amount of exercise (I understand there is an easier route available if you are unable to tackle the more strenuous one). Also be aware it's circa. 6 hours of driving all in

Worth it - Susan was a great guide. She is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Mt Rainier and the surrounding trails/nature. She was ver attentive to all members of the group, who ranged in age and ability. You do need to be in good physical condition to take this tour. I am in my late 40s and not in top notch shape, but I was able to manage the trails, although it took some time. The hike from Paradise to Glacier Vista is uphill and there and can be quite steep. With that being said, I am so glad that I did this tour. The views were incredible and like nothing else I had ever seen.

Views are fantastic! - Fun tour, but the food was lacking. Mt. Rainier hike was uphill, but less than a mile. Guide was very knowledgeable.
