Not just for tourists - Chef Eric was very funny, entertaining, and informative. He knew his stuff and painted a picture of the south lake union food scene that I had no previous knowledge of. I am from Seattle and would not have previously thought to look to SLU for food, but now I plan to visit the neighborhood a lot more often. It opened my eyes to a part of the city I had otherwise ignored.

Fabulous Food Tour - This food tour was both educational with regards to the history of Seattle as well as the food consumed. Eric was a fabulous tour guide. He provided interesting information while keeping us all laughing. I will look for other tours led by Chef Eric!

Very fun and unique experience! - I purchased this tour as a unique Christmas gift for my foodie boyfriend and both he and I had an amazing time! ! Chef Eric made it incredibly easy to find and even secured us free parking which was a nice surprise! We began our tour with some incredible tamales and ended with one of the best macarons (and maybe one of the best desserts) I’ve ever had in my life! Eric was very professional and informative, but also funny and easygoing! He taught us about the history of some Seattle neighborhoods, the culture and science behind the corn that went into the tamales, the interesting bagel making process, and the thought behind different food pairings, etc. He had delicious samples ready for us at each stop and even made sure we had containers to take leftovers home! We were definitely full and happy by the end of the tour : ) I’ve never had an experience like this and I’m glad I took the leap and booked this tour! It is a great gift idea for anyone in your life that loves food or even to treat yourself! I’m already looking into Chef Eric’s other tours!

Great guide, great food. - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around South Lake Union with Eric. He's personable, knowledgeable, and combines the history of the neighbourhood with detailed explanations about the venues and the food. It's always a bonus to have a chef leading the way because they're able to offer insight and answer questions about the process and procedure of the offerings. Highly recommend this particular tour as a slightly off the beaten path option over the ubiquitous Pike Place Market walks. Don't eat breakfast though - there's a lot of (delicious) food!

Street food tour exceeds expectations - The South Lake Union Street Food tour was incredible! It exceeded my expectations, so many different types of food. You should definitely come hungry and ready to eat. It’s enough food for a large meal. We had 2 types of tacos, an assortment of different flavor bagels, fried chicken, ginger beer and macarons. Chef Eric was extremely knowledgeable and gave us tons of chef-y tips and tricks about cooking and the food we were eating. Everything was super clean and moved quickly and easily through the city. We are visiting from Los Angeles and really enjoy food and unique food experiences and this was the perfect thing to do on a rainy Seattle afternoon.

Great foodie experience! - My husband and I loved this tour. The food was amazing. We were absolutely stuffed by the end making the value of the tour very fair. We e even went back to some of the spots to buy some take away items and went back to one spot for dinner. Highly recommend for experiencing a different side of Seattle away from the busy crowds of downtown. Also a great experience for any foodie.

Good foods to tempt your palate. - Had a good variety of foods within a relatively small walking area. Foods were tasty and spice level can be adjusted to one’s taste. Eric was great in explaining food prep and what happens to food ingredients as they get soaked, washed, cooked.
