Susan is the best! The... - Susan is the best! The day flew by—we had a fantastic time with the group. The tour was very well organized, and we visited more places than we expected. Excellent Guided Hiking Experience! - This was a great experience! Susan was an excellent guide, providing a personalized experience. She picks everyone up in Seattle and stops halfway at a full grocery store with a Starbucks. Once you get to the mountain, you hike from the visitors center and have a picnic. The hike was great- beautiful views. Susan provides a lot of great information about the area and really checks in with everyone to make sure they are doing well. After the main hike, you have time in the lodge and shop and then Susan takes you to several other spots for shorter hikes and photo opportunities, including waterfalls and a forest hike. I found the hikes to be good exercise but not overwhelming and I appreciated that we didn’t have to worry about opportunities for using the bathroom, getting food or water, etc. It made it all a very stress-free experience and we learned a lot about Mount Rainier! I would definitely recommend this experience. It is a full day- we met at 8:00 AM for the van and did not get back till 7:00 PM because our group wanted to do a little extra hiking.

- I am not one to write reviews or take guided tours for that matter, but this trip was amazing and worthy of praise. I had considered renting a car and doing the sightseeing on our own, but in hindsight we would have missed so much. Susan knows which trails to take and gives out helpful information along the way. We stopped at places many visitors overlook, like a hidden waterfall and bridge. It is a strenuous hike with some steep inclines. This is not a leisurely stroll. Be prepared. But if you are up to it, the tour will reward you with beautiful vistas of glaciers and wildflowers, overgrown forests, rushing rivers, and majestic waterfalls. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Seattle.

Mt. Rainier Experience - My friends and I had a great time on the Mt. Rainier day excursion. Our guide, Susan, was very helpful and gracious as well as friendly. The main hike was grouped with other small hikes and views of the waterfalls. It was a nice variety of activities which allowed us to see a good amount of the park.

Excellent Tour Experience - Really wonderful day experiencing Mr. Rainier. Our guide was Rachel and she was such a friendly, patient, and knowledgeable guide. She really made sure everyone was included and felt comfortable and got the most of the experience. Things to know: It is a full day trip - we did an 8am tour and arrived back between 6:30-7:00pm. We had a group of 13 in a van. I recommend taking Dramamine for the drive if you are prone to car sickness. But the ride was comfortable. You will be hiking - trekking poles were provided - but be prepared for some serious incline and some uneven ground on and off during the day. You will be tired! But as long as you don't have a health condition that prevents some light hiking, you can do easily do the hikes. The views are spectatular and you really get to experience and see a lot! We had ample stops for bathroom and to get snacks on the drive both up and back and Rachel kept the van nice and cool on our hot day and even provided water. Highly recommend!

Good, but expensive - The ride is worth it, but I wish it was a bigger, bus-like vehicle. The "tour" part consisted of a hike, which we did not partake. So we sat mostly, enjoying the view. Its expensive but transportation is definitely preferable to driving yourself at any cost.

- They overbooked and canceled just one day in advance. (On their site, it says they will cancel the trip if there aren’t enough people, but it doesn’t say they will overbook and kick you out. Yet that’s exactly what happened to me.) I booked the 7 AM tour for 7/20. On 7/19 around noon, I got a message from them saying I was moved to the 8 AM tour because everyone else was on that tour. I agreed. Then around 6 PM, they told me they were going to cancel my booking. Since I have a local number and there was only one spot left (but I booked two seats), I explained that I couldn’t change to another date because my wife was returning to Canada soon. They understood and said I could keep the spots. However, two hours later they called again and said I couldn’t have the spots after all because I was the last person to book the trip. At this point, I was very disappointed. I booked the 7 AM tour, they moved me to 8 AM, and now they’re saying I booked too late and I’m being kicked out because I have a local number. They canceled my booking, and based on this experience I would say they are very unprofessional.
