Savor Seattle is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority (PDA) to operate tours in the Pike Place Market Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting paid tours within its properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.
- If you have any trouble finding the meeting location, give us a call at (206) 338-1841.
- Due to space constraints and uneven roads, strollers and wheelchairs are difficult to accommodate on the tour. Please plan that you will be walking about one mile and standing for the majority of the tour and possibly in direct sunlight or rain. We recommend comfortable footwear, appropriate clothing for the weather, and a bottle of water. Water will also be for sale at the meeting location

The tour will meet inside Unexpected Productions Market Theatre located at 1428 Post Alley. Located in Pike Place Market in Lower Post Alley, precisely where you'll find The Gum Wall. From First and Pike, walk the cobblestones downhill and turn to the left, then look for the theater entrance.

Great way to eat breakfast - Matt provided a great tour full of interesting stories and facts. We really enjoyed eating our way around the market with this tour! Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent morning tour - We loved the breakfast tour! Matt was our guide and he kept us all entertained and well fed the entire time. It was really cool to see the quiet market get busier and busier as the morning went on. I can tell how much the community means to everyone who works in the area. Well worth it!

Hands down, A MUST experience! - Out-of-towners, listen up! You need--absolutely NEED-- to go on the brunch tour with Matt. If there's anything you have to take home from visiting Seattle, it's the memory of visiting The Market, trying delicious local foods, and being a part of the community! Matt welcomed us as a group of new Insiders and is very well-knowledged in the history and present of Pike Place Market. A little cool in the morning (but I'm from Texas where it's a 100+ degrees in July), but you'll warm up with some good food and a warm heart. NOW GO BOOK THE TOUR!

Best way to experience and eat your way through the market - Matt was an excellent guide who made us feel so welcome in the market by his knowledge and the ways in which he connected with those he knew in the market! All that we ate was top quality food and we truly ate the best of the Pike Place Market! Thanks so much for a great tour! It was awesome !

Perfect taste of pike place market - Matt was incredible. Amazing tour. Got to experience a wide variety of incredible foods from the market, learn the history and backstory what made this incredible place that it is today, and discover new favorites to go back and try over again.

THE best way to experience Pike Place Market! - Even though I live in the Seattle area, I love Savor Seattle tours! They are a great activity to take out-of-town guests, and even as a local, I always learn something new. Matt was a fabulous guide! Friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and patient, he was everything you'd want in a tour guide. Add a great group of 8 other guests and it made for a fantastic and memorable morning! My 16-year-old daughter and her friend from out of town loved it!! Total win!

Delicious and fun way to learn about the market! - Our team took this tour as a team building activity at the end of our workshop and it was the perfect way to end! Our team is local to Seattle and many of us had visited Pike Place many times but this was a refreshing and tasty way of learning more about our city and the market! We sampled many delicious spots and left with full bellies! Matt was an incredible tour guide as he was a well of knowledge. He was super friendly, patient with us as we wanted to buy everything, and very knowledgeable, not to mention he made it so fun with his sense of humor and lighthearted spirit! You can tell he’s well connected and loved in the Pike Place community as he waved and greeted many of the vendors. Thank you Matt for a great tour!

Quiet early morning at the Market - We had an intimate tour of just 5 in our group on a Friday morning. I loved the early morning access to the Market - so much less overwhelming and fun to see the merchants setting up!
Our tour guide was Matt and he has worked at the Market as a vendor representative, so he had authentic relationships with almost everyone we met. We got to hear his anecdotes as well as facts and insider info about the Market, and of course eat many tasty treats!
We went on this tour about 10 years ago and the stops have changed. It was great to experience new places and hear new stories.
