Amon | The Guide to Gamla stan - This was shortest but the best tour I have had on my backpacking. Amon has been a very good guide., and he had so much knowledge on everything and gave us idea about almost everything on this trip. He even ended our tour with giving us suggestions to explore the city even better. Much recommended tour.

Great tour guide, great tour, highly recommended. - The tour with Ivana was very nice. She has a lot of historical knowledge of the city and showed us beautiful places. She also gave a lot of recommendations for sights, restaurants, bars and the prettiest spot to watch the sunset. She was also very considered, always waited for everyone to catch up and frequently asked if we needed a break. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

Good sights in Gamla Stan - We were pleased to connect with this walking tour of the old part of Stockholm, Gamla Stan. Directions were clear for where to meet. Our guide, Caroline, had a list of expected participants, and checked us off as we identified ourselves to her. We were a bit concerned when we realized the group would be about 25...but she did a good job of gathering us at each stop, and stopping where we could actually hear her. This part of Stockholm has cobbled streets, so we were actually not too disappointed when the tour was just 90 minutes (rather than the 2 hours we had expected). Overall, we appreciated the sights we stopped to see. Caroline's commentary helped us understand more clearly about the early history and some of the quirky parts of Gamla Stan (including the hoist for bringing up groceries, furniture and drunk husbands, the alley which is only 90 cm wide, and a remaining pipe for dumping chamber pots into the street from 4 stories up). This is a good walking tour, and a positive experience for people of all ages.

It was ok - note that i think this was also a free walking tour but you pay via viator - Was not the best tour I had done. I found that it was difficult to find at first because the “group” to find in viator was not the same signage as what I found at the meeting point. The tour guide seemed to know minimal facts and was not the most interesting guide. Also the sites we stopped at again were not very interesting when the tour guide only had 1 little comment to add. I left towards the end.

Disappointing - Original tour was cancelled; I was rebooked for two hours later. It was a huge group (50 people?). The guide had no microphone so some people could not hear. Carolina was nice, but not very knowledgeable and did not give any kind of an overview. She said it was only her 4th tour. Compared to other walking tours I have taken this was by far the worst.
