Highlights
  • Stockholm Old Town - The tour begins with a stroll through Stockholm’s Old Town, the original city established in the 1200s. Many medieval buildings are still preserved here.

Agnes shares stories about the commerce that once thrived at Järntorget (Iron Square) and recounts her family’s involvement in building the Vasa ship.

  • Royal Palace - The tour includes a stop below the Royal Palace, near the location where the Vasa ship was docked before its ill-fated maiden voyage. The ship was stocked with cannons and supplies here.
  • Kungsträdgården Park - Pause at the entrance of Kungsträdgården Park to hear about a palace that once stood on this site.
  • Skeppsholmen - Walk across Skeppsholmen and stop at a lookout point to view the initial route the Vasa ship sailed before sinking.

Skeppsholmen, meaning “Ship Island,” once housed shipyards and now hosts several of Stockholm’s museums.

Agnes encounters someone who claims to know her, but perhaps he is mistaken?

  • Skeppsholmen - The tour concludes at the Skeppsholmen ferry dock. From here, the Vasa Museum is just a five-minute ferry ride across the water.

Agnes finally meets the person she has been searching for. Could this story have a happy ending?
