Highly recommended - Great visit from start to finish. There is plenty to do for the whole family. Our age range was from 11 months old to 55 years old. There is plenty of room to have a picnic. Absolutely loved going on to experience and meeting the highland cows. Highly recommended

Grrrrreat - Had just a fantastic time today even with the damp weather. The young lady that met and greeted us was so friendly and told us all about the farm etc. Enjoyed feeding animals. The trip around the farm in the trailer to see the highland cows was a dream come true, seeing them in their natural environment wandering free was fantastic. Going back to the barn we were able to pet the new born calves and lambs. This day was tremendous

Great experience! Couldn’t recommend more highly. - Very well organised and family friendly experience. Bought as a gift for my wife and from the moment we got out the car we were greeted by friendly farm animals. Staff were amazing with our children. Great facilities on site for cleanliness. There was all a great little play area for the children. Highly recommended

Well worth the visit - do go! - As a retired farmer I know the pressures and problems facing farmers nowadays and the Jacksons' couldn't do more to engage with the public. Their animals are obviously very well cared for with each being typical. Goats, noisy and boisterous and cheeky, lambs innocent and friendly, sheep wary, and toffee coos who didn't really care about anything except food! A great hour or so back on the land seeing these great animals in their natural environment. A safe route for walking, a farming family that knows their animals and just a great hour or so in day

Highland Coo Trailer ride - We had the best time on a Highland Cow landrover and trailer ride as well as having a picnic which we brought for my mums birthday. We spent time feeding pigs, goats, sheep as well. Lovely people there to help and a lovely gift shop with tea and coffee and ice cream. Lots to do for kids and very peaceful atmosphere. Accessible toilets also.

Highland Cows! - We loved our experience on the farm. We weren’t sure if we were going to see Highland Coows or not on our trip so finding a farm that had them really made my day. We prebooked but couldn’t make the day we planned and they very helpfully let us move to the next day (thanks Beth for your help!). They give you feed with your ticket and the cows loved it and came up to the fence to eat out of your hands. There is a hand washing station when you get back but bringing hand wipes would have been helpful as we learned cows are quite slobbery! We were in a bit of a time crunch since we were detouring to see the cows on the way out of town but if I could do it again I would have booked their 1 pm cow experience where they take you in the field and answered our questions. I would allot at least 30 minutes minimum if you are in a hurry, as we were. We got some great pictures!
