August by boat - Really exciting sightseeing tour, suggestive and with glimpses of unique landscapes. Staff really professional and very helpful. Giovanni and Carmelo really two smart people. Beautiful and interesting historical explanations. To be redone!!!!!!!

A trip to remember! - Medium-sized boat, comfortable also x get on and off during baths. Trampoline x diving much appreciated by children! Very welcoming cabin crew, nice and kind guys. We found ourselves as family and we even saw the dolphins at sunset 😍

Scylla is even more beautiful view from the sea - If you are in Scilla even for a day, book a morning or afternoon boat trip with Seaside Tour. In 3 hours you will see the spectacular coastline and caves. You will take 2 baths in a sea of spectacular colors, in maximum safety. In fact, the crew, nice and prepared, provides the floating tubes and one hand to get on and off for the bath, from the comfortable ladder. A way to enjoy Scylla from the sea, in the company of friendly sailors.

A dip in wonder - It was a wonderful experience, the scenery was wonderful and the sea crystal clear. The very kind and helpful crew, explained the characteristics of what we saw and answered all our questions. Highly recommend the experience.

Terrible tour! - Terrible tour. They delayed the tour by half hour morning of to 10:30. Skipper didn’t show up until 10:30, and then took fifteen minutes to get the boat ready. This impacted our afternoon activities substantially. There were no drinks as advertised, not even a glass of water for the whole tour. Nor typical Calabrian snacks, again as advertised. Skipper said no more than ten words. We didn’t know where we were or what we were looking at. The only way we knew we could swim was because he stopped the boat. We were not told how long we could swim for and at one point he seemed to get upset because some of people had swam out a bit far, however he had not provided any direction so not sure how anyone was supposed to know. Truly a frustrating experience.

Terrible experience, serious security issues - We had an extraordinarily bad experience. The boat trip included 4 stops, at the first we are told that we have 20 minutes for a bath. Me and my partner get off and approach some rocks with masks, they must have been 15 meters maximum from the boat. At one point we hear a little girl screaming near the boat, she is definitely hurt, but shortly after it stops and some people remain at sea near the boat, others (probably family and friends of the child) are on board. We continue to snorkel but suddenly we realize that the boat has left running towards the port from where we left. We were left at sea alone, away from the beach and without any kind of support. By the way, with all our valuables on board. Fortunately we intercepted another private boat, which very kindly escorted us back to the port. On the way back, we meet the aforementioned boat that had abandoned us, and not satisfied the gentlemen of the crew tell us that the problem is ours because the child, who had injured a finger, needed rescue. Not even an excuse, it did not even occur to him to count the people on board before leaving or to scream (since they were not equipped with a megaphone) to understand if someone was still at sea before leaving. I do not doubt that the situation was serious, but here there are precisely the minimum procedures for handling an emergency case, which could have become much more serious since I could have felt sick and drowned, left on the high seas to myself. At that point we asked to be taken back to the port, which was not granted because "it is now too late" and despite ourselves we had to stay on board until the end of the tour. Once back at the port of Scilla, we try to talk to the manager of the shed where we had booked the tour, who equally treats us as if the problem had been ours, and not a failure on their part. We talk on the phone with the owner who in turn does the same. In addition, they "grant" us a partial refund (30€ out of 60€) because "however you have had the experience". That's brave. The experience was terrible and we ended it against our will, as mentioned above. I would point out, among other things, that on that ship there was the master, a deckhand and even the owner, but he was not on board when we were able to get back on the ship. Three people failed to handle the situation safely for everyone. In conclusion, I strongly recommend to the gentlemen to do a course on how to manage such a Tourist Service with professionalism and above all in safety, and to visitors to Scilla to avoid them, which so much of similar boat trips are effortlessly found, probably even better.
